Summary: First off - I am not a technology snob, so I cannot speak to the various performance specs some may want to know about. This TV met my average expectations providing easy to use functionality and displaying a good quality picture with no noticeable flaws. I do have a great deal of glare during the day, but that is a phenomenology issue (e.g. plasma screen TVs) not an issue with the TV itself.
Summary: This product has a very good picture with just an outdoor antenna. The set up was very easy and the controls are very user friendly. You have to read the manual if this is your first flat screen, but the instructions are very easy to understand. Blu ray or DVD show very good pictures. HD lets you see the imperfections or perfections on peoples faces.
Summary: Nice looking and functioning television, easy to set up. Wonderful sharp picture as good or better than LED/LCD. This is good for a room that has less light and glare, but will show well in either. The only negative that gave this a 4-star was the sound quality. In a small room you will be fine, larger rooms will require a sound-bar or surround sound to give you a full sound effectiveness. For the price, this was/is a great buy. This T.V.
Summary: I can hardly believe the minimal manual that comes with this TV. I am extremely disappointed. The setup for color and picture characteristics can be highly complex, and this TV has more adjustment options than I have ever seen. And none of them are described in the manual. It seems to describe how to set it up and connect the wires, with some details on the buttons of the remote controller.
Summary: I purchased the 60PA5500 to upgrade from an aging rear projection TV, and the image quality is amazing. After researching the different TV technologies out there I had to go with plasma. I also was preferring a "dumb" TV, without any built in apps and internet connected features, since I already have access to all the streaming features I want. I can't stress enough how amazing the picture quality of this set is.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
Summary: I like this product. I would recommend it to others. The only think I think that the manufacturers should add to the manual package is the information on configuring this device....and the step be step options on setting up some of the features such as accessing the Internet with this device...and using this device in a home studio.
Summary: i liked that it played all my videos from usb had a great picture i didnt like that it didnt have wireless i would recomend it but i went to a different tv i rate that one when i get to use it more but i like that this tv is easy to understand and hookup is easy price was a little to steep but it was still a great tv just didnt have all the features i wanted
