Summary: I'm very happy with this unit.. I have tried to get sound from surround win I listen to Music on Direc tv and watching Netflix.. I have sound when I watch movies on reg tv and dvd or cd.. Not on other demands this is very important to me..What do I need to do in order for this to work? Also is the an app to make some of the Apps work that flash player supports?
Summary: I love my 3D LED TV; got it home and hooked it up--worked perfectly, had GR8 resolution & performed flawlessly!! My only problem is the fact that; once I hooked-up the HDMI.....most of the time, when I turn unit on; I will get a picture--but NO SOUND. I have to cycle power on/off several times until I have sound & picture. So far, HDMI has been the only input with this problem. LG blames the Time Warner Cable & TWC says it it a LG TV problem.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: The 3D experience with passive 3D, vs active3D, is much more enjoyable. The glasses are lighter and more comfortable, and the images seem to have less ghosting, than with active 3D. One added comfort feature is the peace of mind you have, knowing that you don't have to worry about the battery, in your glasses, dying, or needing to be recharged, in the middle of a movie. In my experience, WIFI is not adequate to support 3D.
4.5 out of 5 (i gave it a 4 in my overall rating since there was no .5)

Summary: Great picture Sound options suck: there's a problem with hdmi outputting, optical digital outputting plus there's no rca output which sucks (the option I used is the headphone option I use a Belkin Audio Y Cable Splitter to my speakers which is not bad but not the preferred option) The 3D is the best out there that I've found so far compared to other tv's you may have to adjust the image a bit so that it won't hurt your eyes Overall its a great tv I would rate it a 4.5...
Summary: Purchased this TV to finally upgrade my 720p to 1080p with a bigger screen and 3D. With that said, this is my first 3D tv, 1080p tv, and one of this size, if that matters for this review. It's definitely a good size, although I'm already used to it and it no longer feels large (if I want LARGE, I pop over to my projector). The picture is excellent and viewing angle excellent. As a new user of 3D, it's alright.
Very nice TV, great for rooms with lots of windows and light

Summary: I've had this TV for almost 3 month now and have been enjoying it. I'll summarize some pros and cons below. Pros - works great in a room with lots of windows and ambient light (this is the main reason we picked this one Vs one with a coated screen that would glare) - very good picture quality in 2D mode, great color depth - SKYPE app works well (though the camera LG recommends is not very high quality, I wish I would have bought a better camera for it) - web features are...
Summary: 3-D is so simple to use. The picture is so awesome. The colors are amazing. I do have trouble using the wi-fi. The set up was simple but some of the sites don't come in right. I'm sure with a little research on my part I will be able to figure it out.
Summary: I have had my LG 3D 55in LCD-LED TV for several weeks now. I certainly cannot complain about the picture quality as it's very good. I found in trying to adjust the color etc. that it worked best for me to "reset" to factory settings as I had messed up the color, contrast etc. when trying to dial in the ( perfect picture ). Once I restored to factory settings I only tweaked a couple of things slightly & was very, very happy with the result.
