Excerpt: We purchsed the LG 55in. smart TV for our family room. We wanted to be able to use Netflix without having to hook up a game system to it. We really love this TV. We have had many TVs in the past and this one surpasses them all. I don't think we'll ever buy a TV that isn't a smart TV again. The sound quality is good, but could be improved. We have surround sound system connected to ours, but i was a little disappointed in the speakers without anything external connected.
Excerpt: This is a great tv for the price. To be honest I've never used the 3D aspect of it because you need to hook up a 3D capable DVD player to watch movies in 3D. I do use the other features though and am amazed at how user friendly it is for a non technical person like me. The sound and picture are really nice. We just stuck with the factory defaults on this tv and are happy with the way the picture looks.
Great TV but a little hard to understand at times...

Excerpt: I love the tv itself but its a little confusing to understand at first. For weeks I was using it and didn't know I wasn't full "optimizing" the screen settings so it looked ok but the picture was always bigger than the screen so after my friend adjusted it I FINALLY got the AMAZING picture I was promised. I still look at it and am amazed because it looks like its all real. It has been great to watch netflix and hulu on it.
Nice TV, perfect functions, great for internet streaming.

Excerpt: Perfect TV, movie lovers are getting exaclty what they wanted1 Very good quality of picture, great for watching just anything - movies, series, sports, news. Perfectly sharp picture, very colourful, vivid colours - just get you into the movie, you will feel like being part of it. Good sound, you will love watching all movies on this TV.
Summary: Though I did not buy my TV from Walmart, I did get this same model, and felt they needed a review here. I have had this TV for about 5 days now. It came well packaged with 2 remotes (one being the Wii-like remote), instructions, stand, wifi usb adapter, and batteries for both remotes. Getting it set up: certainly try and get someone to help you. I managed it by myself, but it's just too risky on something this expensive.
