Summary: Over all The TV picture is great but the hand held pointing device is very unstable. This make all the online feature difficult to enjoy. The sound system is average and when connected to a sound theater system the tv sound lags the other sound system. Not a major issue but should be addressed. Again overall 3D works great and TV picture is Excellent.
Summary: The 2D and 3D experience with this tv is amazing, great picture in both formats. The passive glasses are a big step up from the "active" (expensive) glasses. One app that I wish the tv had was hulu, or a silmilar app.
Summary: We absolutely love out new LG 55" 3D LED TV. We paid full price for it but it was well worth it. We got the LG surround sound with it and a 3D Blu-Ray player. We love the way it takes 2D programs and can convert them into 3D. I like this feature best for watching hockey games in HD. It is as good as having box seats. It is full of features and takes a while to get use to it, but the remote wand makes it very easy to navigate.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, 2d to 3d
Summary: Have owned this TV since May 10th and the Picture is fantastic. Looked at some other 3-D TV's but they required "active" glasses. The LG doesn't and the 3-D effect is as good or better. Find it a little clumsy to access the features but not a real problem. The "point & click" remote helps quite a bit. Very excellent TV.
Summary: So after 15 years of watching our 27 inch Magnavox box, I decided to leap into the 21st century and buy a new flat panel TV. And as long as I was buying a new TV, I might as well get the latest technology. I spent hours on-line researching all the brands available and learning the difference between Plasma vs LCD and Interactive 3D vs Passive 3D. I also went to all the stores and looked at the screens from all the TV's hanging on the walls.
Summary: So far i've had this 3DTV for almost 1 month now and I think its unbelievable I had a hard time buying a TV set over the internet so this is a first for me but I have to say that I sure am glad I got it. I first seen it on demo at best buy after seeing it being compared to all other TVs I knew this was the way to go, the 2d to 3d option is awesome, it also comes with a usb wi-fi adapter so it connects to the internet and it has lg apps and youtube netflix etc.
Summary: Hope this helps. I ordered on amazon from PaulsTV on tuesday. no bs on friday 9am it was on in my living room. I set it up saturday morning. It looks great In 2D and with limited 3D sources I was surprised to find that it will upconvert any 2D into 3D. some not alot, adds a little dept to the images .still sweet. I also put there claims to the test.
