Summary: LG continues to provide great products at great prices. I really like how easy is to use this TV. The overall design is light and nice. The picture quality is really good. The sound is good, but not as strong as I expected. However if you will add some sound boxes that will improve it. The TV is energy efficient, but again most of the LG products are as well. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it.
Summary: I bought this TV in August 2012 as a replacement for my Sony Vega 32. I did a lot of research before buying it and narrowed my search down to the LG, Samsung and Sharp. I usually always look for customer reviews because they are the truest yardstick for any product - especially objectively written 1 and 2 star reviews. One negative point that consistently emerged across different web sites was the 'tinny' sound. I often wondered what it meant.
Summary: Love it. The color, sound, resolution! The function of Internet connection is useful for us. We order movies online directly and play it on the tv, so convenient! If the Internet applications .e.g. YouTube, could store where we left after we quit the program or switch off the tv! It would also be nice to have quick forward and backward function when using YouTube to watch movies.
Summary: This LG TV is great for the price (I paid approx $900). But I guess you get what you pay for. One thing that bugs me is the viewing angle degrades as you view it at an angle. It does let you swivel the screen so as long as your watching the TV by yourself and straight on, it's not an issue. The TV settings let you get really detailed in refining your picture by providing options that in the past were only available to calibraters.
Summary: I wanted a 55" LED TV with 3D but did not want to pay $1,000 or more. I have a Roku so SmartTV wasn't important to me. When I found the 55LM4600 for $799 I went for it! I calibrated the picture and found it still not as clear as my other LED TV so after trying to play with it for a few days I decided to look and see if it needed a firmware update. It did, and after installing the update via USB my picture quality improved considerably.
