Summary: The light sensing system over reacts to ambient light so in a dark room the picture goes too dark whereas in a light room it's fine. Main Beef is the position of the connections for internet and HDMI--Right at the centre of the back Which means for wall mount they are totally inaccessible and the HDMI connections go straight out which means you can't adjust the angle.Poorly thought out design, and I ran a design Engineering business!

Summary: PICTURE QUALITY INITIALLY NEEDS SIGNIFICANT ADJUSTMENTS , BUT AFTER WORKING WITH THE MANY AVAILABLE ADJUSTMENTS IS A GOOD PICTURE NOW. MAJOR PROBLEM IS THAT THE SPEAKERS RATTLE AND ARE EVEN BAD AT LOW VOLUMES. OF COURSE GETS WORSE AT LOUDER VOLUMES. THIS IS "AS IS" OUT OF THE BOX AND THE SPEAKERS HAVE NEVER BEEN PLAYED AT ANY HIGH VOLUMES AT ANY PERIOD OF TIME..
Summary: I don't write many reviews, so I'd have to be pretty disappointed with this product to do it. Overall the basic functions etc. of the television are fine, but compared to other televisions I have, which are much older, the picture on this one is very dark. I've played with all the settings (Brightness, Contrast, all the pre-set settings) to no avail. The picture is just dark and has no real robustness to it. It's my first and last LG.
