Summary: One year in on this TV and the thing has a mind of its own. Sometimes it goes to some garbled screen of colors on its own and the only way to get rid of it is to pull the plug on the tv. The remote wont work nor the buttons on the tv itself. Also the sound quality is ridiculously poor. This was my second tv because the one before it sucked too. I thought it was a defect in the tv. Turns out its just a crappy design i guess.
Summary: I bought this tv and it worked great for the first 6 months. Then the power went out. I called LG. They told me it was under warranty. They gave me an LG repair man. I called made an appointment. He ordered the part and put it in. Still the problem existed. He ordered another part, that fixed the problem. A month later lg says it is not under warranty and I have to pay $700 for the fix. Which is more than the cost of the TV. It is factory refurbished but not by LG.
Summary: I purchased LG 55LM4600 unit at Walmart . Bad straight from store. The 3D was actually very good at first but noticed haziness in the background so that wasn't crisp. Since this was attached to a 5.1 3D stereo system I didn't think of using the unit's speakers. A day leater it dawned on me to do so.... Boy were the speakers real bad on the unit I had... I don't think this was the case from other reviews... must be a bum unit.
