Excerpt: I was ready to upgrade and did quite a bit of research before deciding on this TV. I've had it for about 2 weeks now, and have no complaints with it. Set up was very easy. I was a little concerned initially because the picture appeared a little dull and washed out, but then I looked at the settings and noticed that the default setting for picture brightness was 50%. Tweaked that a bit and the colors came alive. I haven't used the 3D much yet, but so far it looks nice.
Pros: Attractive, Easy Set Up, Great picture quality
Summary: Great TV, The best and clearest picture I have ever seen, Very user friendly, I like the smart features, great to watch shows off the internet, And the 3D is the best, very light weight 3D glasses
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: This is a really good TV, BUT there are no directions for use. Hard to figure out when hooking up. Hard to find to play DVDs. The exterior speaker setup is almost non existent. Should be able to setup each speaker on its own without any others playing. NO DIRECTIONS in the box. Have to have an internet connection to get updates. SOME PEOPLE don't have internet!! Just lack of respect for older people who are not savvy on all the new stuff. LG needs to address this issue!!
Summary: I purchased this TV online, got an awesome price($500 less than Best Buy), and I am thrilled with the picture quality and overall physical design of the TV. There are many features, more than I will use, but I do like the ability of getting online through the TV. Speed getting to the internet is slower than I expected, but that is why I have a PC!
