Summary: I have a 50PZ550 50" 3 D TV with all the bells and whistles I really enjoy the sound that this TV puts out, and the picture is what all the talk is about ,a true HDTV picture, beautiful, stunning
Summary: Puchased TV on Consumer Reports recommendation. TV malfunctioned right out of the box. Its HDMI is incompatible with my RCA DVD player (greenish screen and no sound). Also, TV kept turning on by itself. LG sent technician and the main board was changed. Only cured the self-turn on problem. I'm still whatching DVD with an AV cable.
Summary: One thing that you get with this tv that is not mentioned on the ads is "2d to 3d" which allows you to view regular hd programming with some 3d, not sure how its done but the backgrounds look deeper, its not full 3d, but nice. This TV however is friggin awesome. you can set it to energy save mode and it goes all year long for less than $30 in energy (5 hours a day @.11/kwh) The pictures are crisp and clean, of course the 3d is awesome.
Summary: Great value but support like most today does not look to benefit the buyer. This is not a smart TV thought it has network connectivity. LG has failed to update the network interface so greater options are available. I could not recommend this product because it lacks may internet options. This is something easy for LG to update.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
Summary: I found this TV on such a great deal I couldn't pass it up. I didn't want a 3D TV but is was a better deal so I bought it. Now that i have it I love the 3D feature and doubt I will ever buy another TV without it. This TV does more than I could ever want it to. The setup was very easy. I definitely recommend this TV.
Summary: This Plasma is fantastic. I did a lot of shopping around and could not find a better deal. I wasnt even looking for a 3D TV but the deal I got for amazing. The Black color levels on this set is almost prefect. The only down side to this product in my eyes is the sound quality...wish the speakers where better.
Summary: This lG Plasma HDTV is awesome. The color & functionality is great and easy to use. Setup was a breeze. This is an upgrade from a 42"plasma. The only annoying problem is the 3D glasses. It keeps turning off after 10 min. This problem is also posted elsewhere on net. I thought that this was just an isolated problem but it happened to all of my 3 pairs of 3D glasses. After exchanging them, I found 1 that worked correctly without turning off.
Summary: I love this television. Brilliant picture without the cartoony look of LED or LCD units. OK... some bad points: The wi-fi dongle gives only a couple of options for receiving material from the internet. Of course, since it works at all, the retailer has been completely non-responsive to a return. Because I want the other services, I had to also buy a Roku unit to access them. Sad. I also have an issue with the owners manual.
Summary: the picture quality is outstanding. the 3d is wonderful. the 2d to 3d is just as good. i only have 2 issues with the tv. 1) the speakers are not good, but i use a sound bar anyways. 2) it retains images far worse than my panasonic plasma. it doesn't burn in, but the last image stays ghostly for a few minutes. all in all a great tv and one of the best 3d tv i have seen.
