Summary: I love LG. I've got all my appliances from them and never had problems with any of them and I thought that this tv was going to be same as well but after 1 year of pleasure the colors started to blur. Sometimes the tv would start with its regular picture image but then after 1/2 - 1 hour it would change into a terrible color image. Of course this started happening 1 day after the warranty expired.
Summary: I first turned this TV on 6 months ago. It arrived as scheduled and sustained no damage. There were no hassles in getting it going. I was skeptical at start because I normally lean towards Samsung. I replaced a 720p Plasma so this is definitely an improvement. I would recommend this TV. The one item I was a bit disappointed with was the sound but I fixed that with an optical cord going into a surround system.
Summary: I have had this TV for about a month now, and I am very pleased for with this product. I had been searching for a new TV for about 4-5 months and was hesitant to get a plasma over an LED, but after reading numerous reviews, plasmas were the way to go, and I felt this was the best bang for the buck. The picture quality is excellent, the setup is easy, and I don't notice any lag when playing video games. Blu Rays, and especially animated Blu Rays, look absolutely amazing.
Summary: Awesome no frills TV, I have a media PC so I have no need of "Smart" tv's and their extra cost. Great picture, two hdmi inputs, but with a proper tuner/receiver you don't need much. All I wanted was a very big computer monitor, and this is exactly that, great picture very warm not like an LCD where everything is so harsh, and fast motion is pixelated, this is more like a proper movie screen!
Summary: I purchased this TV a few months ago to replace an aging lcd projection tv I purchased 7-8 years ago. The picture and colors on this are beautiful even compared to some on my friends newer plasmas. Everything is very easy to setup even with so many options. Love it, i just wish i had bought the 60inch version.
Pros: Easy to use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
Summary: What a great picture! I enjoyed it for the first week. After that it wouldn't turn on. The vendor Paul's TV was great and replaced it with minimal effort. The second one had the same great picture and lasted a week. I upgraded to a 55" LG LED Smart TV and have been happy with that. If you are over 2000' in elevation I don't recommend a plasma TV.
Summary: beautiful tv. lightweight and has a fabulous picture. even if it is a plasma we aren't worried that it will poop out in a few years, but then there will be new technology to replace it anyway.
