Summary: Earning the ENERGY STAR means a product meets strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. For TVs, it means they save energy both in standby and active (when they're on) modes. ENERGY STAR qualified TVs use about 30% less energy than standard units.
Summary: Pros: - Great color and display - Picture looks very sharp and clear - Picture viewing from the side of the TV is not too bad - Sound is OK Cons: - Display started having vertical lines after about a year and a half. However, LG customer service went out of the way repairing it for free. The picture now is even better than the picture when I first bought the TV.
Summary: This is the best tv I have ever owned. The picture is out of this world. It is easy to use and looks like a million bucks in my living room. Our friends all rave about it as does anyone who happens to see it. Our first plasma and I hope the plasma format is around for a long long time.
Summary: I bought this tv to replace a plasma that ended up dying on me after many years of service. I am very happy with it. I only have it for 2 days so far but right out of the box it looks great. I can't wait to fine tune it and configure it.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: PQ was superb out of the box. Amazing features for the price. Colors, dark blacks, bright whites. Sports, movies, HDTV, bluray. Watchinhg TV is like sitting in a theater. You cannot go wrong with an LG plasma TV.
