Summary: This has been a great TV since I bought it in July 2010, just over four years from this writing. Unfortunately the manufacturer warranty is only one year, and today it developed a 0.8" vertical white line top to bottom. Stays on all inputs, overlays the menu, etc.
Summary: I have to say I have loved this TV until a month ago when a green line appeared down the middle of my screen. I called LG and apparently the panel is gone.... its only 3 years old. A TV should last more than three years, especially if you are spending that kind of money on it.
Summary: I was excited by this deal 2.5 years ago and loved the tv for long time. After one year it would sometimes not turn on and I would have to wait an hour. Now it wont turn on at all and when I google the problem turns out this is very common. TV should last much longer for $800.
Summary: Earning the ENERGY STAR means a product meets strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. For TVs, it means they save energy both in standby and active (when they're on) modes.
Summary: Pros: - Great color and display - Picture looks very sharp and clear - Picture viewing from the side of the TV is not too bad - Sound is OK Cons: - Display started having vertical lines after about a year and a half. However, LG customer service went out of the way repairing it for free.
Summary: This is the best tv I have ever owned. The picture is out of this world. It is easy to use and looks like a million bucks in my living room. Our friends all rave about it as does anyone who happens to see it. Our first plasma and I hope the plasma format is around for a long long time.
Summary: I bought this tv to replace a plasma that ended up dying on me after many years of service. I am very happy with it. I only have it for 2 days so far but right out of the box it looks great. I can't wait to fine tune it and configure it.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
