List All 1 PricesMy TV went out after 15 months. I had all the recepts and warranty card filled out. They were not only rude to me, they pretty much informed me I was screwed. Although LG claims the TV has a 2 year warranty, really it is only good for a year. After that, you have to pay for their repair people to come out to tell you that you have to buy $300 in parts to maybe fix the problem. There are many other brands for the same basic price who respect their customers. Read more
This TV great. The picture and color is best I have seen. There is a little glare just like you would get with a regular CRT TV but that is nothing new. Hands down best picture for the price. Read more
For $899 with the BD550 Blu-ray player this was a no brainer purchase. I researched LCD, LED-LCD and Plasma TVs until my brain almost exploded and I finally arrived at the 50PK550 as the best 50" TV for the price. Nice, sleek, low profile design, great for tight places. Super thin, 1/2 in. thick. Excellent picture and full of features. Highly rated, I would definitely recommend. Thanks LG. Read more

Does the 50PK550 get any burnt lines when viewing standard TV signals in the 4:3 aspect ratio like the Panasonic does?

I had no issue setting my LG 50PK550. Picture was excellent for the first 3 days. I am now experience picture "jump" for a lack of a better word. It's to the point were I get a headache watching the TV? Any guess why now this is happening? I checked all the power sources nearby and there are only 3 TV, Cable box, and DVD/VCR recorder. This arrangement has not changed since setting up the TV.
