Summary: TV had a good picture at night. Too much ambient light during day. Won't come on now. Turns self off and on. Not sure it's worth the $300-500 repair costs that I am finding on-line that others have paid for same problem. As this seems to be an example of LG TV quality,LG won't be on any of my shopping lists.
Summary: After only 2 years of service, the display panel crashed and the TV had to be replaced - LG should be greatly disappointed at the reliability of this set - NO WONDER THEY DISCONTINUED THIS MODEL.
Summary: We have had our television for a year and a half. We loved the picture and the TV, but we are now having issues. The TV just shuts off when you turn it on. From what I have seen online this is a common issue. Of course, LG only offers a year warranty. We have several other plasma TV's in our house by other manufacturers and have not had issues.
Summary: A great and very affordable product. The good people at AVS Forum enthused about this TV and they were right. A brilliant and beautiful PQ, with basic features. The only negative is the rather loose stand, but that can be adjusted by user.
Summary: I pretty much bought this television to play video games on. Great quality (especially with hdmi). Easy to use and install. The only con of course is the sound. Probably want to hook up some extra speakers. Even with out extra speakers it isn't that bad. Just have to jack up the volume a little bit more.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
Summary: i would recommend this product to anyone first off the value of the television is great , secondly the picture quality at 1080p with a bluray is phenomenal. I use it primarily to watch bluray movies and play video games. I've owned this television for almost a year and do not regret buying it. thumbs up all the way around!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, excellent for video games
Summary: I have not reqretted my purchase of this TV since the day I have purchased it. It is everything that I wanted in a TV. I love the picuture, with the crispness, and large screen viewing. I did add a sound bar to add even more enjoyment to my experience of veiwing movies, and sports.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: My old TV blew its last bulb so I figured it was time to upgrade to "The Flat Panel" age. My budget was limited yet I demanded quailty. Don't we all? After shopping around I found this bad boy at a very reasonable price. Right out of the Box it was everything I wanted within reason. Nice design and easy to use. Best part, NO MORE BULBS! My only CON is that even at 600Mhz, I still see alittle pixelation around the edges of the players during fast movement.
