Summary: I got spoiled with my 60 inch which had a few more options but this has a fantastic picture and for the price I would buy it again. In fairness my 60 inch was over 3 times the price so this is a great buy !!
Summary: I'm a no frills kind of person. 3D - Gives me headaches. Smart Functions - Hate them. Streaming Media - Who wants to watch standard definition content on a HDTV? I just hook up my Blu-ray player and receiver and I'm good to go. This television is perfect for my needs.
Summary: The images are crystal clear and has a great picture. We have it in fairly bright room and you can still see the picture fine. I only wish the volume was adjustable on the optical output so you would not need multiple remotes.
Picture is not sharp on PS3 games even after calibration :(

Summary: Well i bought this TV primary to have better gaming experience playing my PS3 on it. The problem is that when i play shooter game like MW3 the screen is so foggy/not sharp so i can barely see a target. It all looks like the picture is lacking contrast or sharpness.
Summary: This LG 50" plasma meets or exceeds my expectations for my living room. Color is good, the color temperature presets "sports", "cinema", maybe 1-2 others met my needs without a bunch of fiddling, but there is a custom setting available... The speakers on the TV are pretty tinny.
Summary: This TV had a great picture. But the sound leaves alot to be desired. Will have to add a soundbar or home theatre system to improve the audio. The standard remote that came with this tv is horrible. You definitely have to use two hands when operating it.
