Summary: Well, it deserves 5 stars due outstanding picture color rendering...have been enjoying it for two and a half years until a few weeks ago...loss of a star LG for quality. It just stopped turning on. More specifically, it would turn on then instantly turn off.
Summary: Great TV, Great Picture; completely happy with it--until it died 1 and 1/2 years of ownership. Bought the extended warranty and now I'm waiting for a repairman...owned TVs for years (have a 10 year old 36 inch CRT in basement--still works).....
Summary: Great tv! Excellent picture! I would have given it a 5 star, but I don't like how you get reflections on the screen during the day.. I don't know if it a plasma screen thing, but I wish you didn't get reflections.
Summary: This is actually my very first Full HD television so I really can't compare it, however being that it's my first I must say that this tv is amazing. The picture comes in crisp and clear through my HD antenna and I love how you can adjust the picture modes such as Vivid, Standard, Cinema and a few...
Summary: I purchased this as a second TV for the basement. Since I had a $500 limit, I felt this was a good deal for the price. The picture is great, and setting up the apps is easy enough. I would have given it 5 stars, except for the sound.
Summary: I got this TV on Sale for $549.00 locally! 1080p for a 720p price! - The USB Function is awesome. I ripped a bunch of my sons favorite cartoons and put them on a USB Stick. Bam! plays quickly, seamlessly, perfectly. The only draw back is the aspect ration is 4/3 and cannot be stretched to 16/9.
Summary: I'm waiting on warranty service so I can't speak for that yet. However, I didn't expect a tv to die after two and a half months. It's completely non-functional. It was great while it lasted. The screen did have some ghosting but otherwise had a decent picture.
Summary: Overall: + Incredible colors and picture quality + Easy to set-up + 3 HDMI ports + Bright whites, dark blacks, incredible blues - Not as crisp as LED - Glare if not mounted at an angle OVERVIEW Let me start by saying that I had over a year long debate between plasma and LED.
Summary: I must say that I was reluctant to buy plasma but very happy I did. I own lcd and led lcd made by toshiba, samsung and LG but this is my favorite set to watch. It was installed in lower level bar/rec room and glare is not an issue. This is a great set at agreat price. I love it.
