Summary: I purchased this TV for a condo in a ski resort. I have never seen it but I have also never received any complaints from renters. It has not required any repairs to date. I have a couple of LG TV's and find them a good value with a good picture. The sound quality on one TV is not as good as I expected, but again I have no complaints on the TV I am rating in this review..
Summary: When I was ready to buy this product I looked for a product that had as many features as possible and was a product not only for the right price, but also for a brand that was recomended by their customers, as well as Consumer Report. I beileve this product was perfect for me now, and when I purchase in 2010. I will definitely will purchase this brand again, for being my first LG product in my home, I'm sold on the brand.
Summary: Easy to use, fantastic picture ...usually. Only issue seems to be the LED dimming. When watching a scene that is in lowlight, the way the led dimming works, it makes it look like flashlights are being shined onto the lit parts from the edges of the screen. No "true black". Otherwise...very nice.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: I like the size and the look of this TV. I was disapointed in the remote but for the money I feel I got a good buy with the latest in technology. I got my tv from Beach Camera for 1,249 on ebay. May have paid more than some but less than a lot.
Summary: The TV gives very good pictures for 2D content. I need to play with the settings to find a good configuration. The Eco sensor function is actually pretty annoying, and I disable it for all input sources. The 3D effect is disappointing. There is significant leaking from one eye to the other, resulting in a blurry 3D effect, and probably a headache if you watch it for an extended period of time.
Summary: awesome picture quality, no dead pixels, automatic update what I don't like is menus respond slow and take a lot of time to switch between the channels and speakers could be lot better, average slimness is quite good, have option to buy LG slim mount, comfy remote, could have been THX certified
Summary: Here is the thing, to me TVs are like cars. Based on opinions and personal experience one decides what brands are good/reliable to them. A couple of months ago I helped my in-laws pick out a LG 42LE5400. I was so impressed with everything about the TV, I knew I had to have an LED when the time came for me to get another HDTV. I wanted something thinner and less heavy than my Sharp Aquos LC46D64U.
Summary: Pros * Excellent picture * Ultra thin * Netcast works really well * Very strong/substantial table base; I decided that I didn't need to mount it on the wall. * I haven't tried 3D yet, I can't find a decent title to buy. But I got four pairs of glasses as part of the special deal. * The system automatically switches to a new input when it goes live. This is annoying until you get used to it. But eventually you will find it to be convenient.
