Summary: I purchased this TV for a condo in a ski resort. I have never seen it but I have also never received any complaints from renters. It has not required any repairs to date. I have a couple of LG TV's and find them a good value with a good picture. The sound quality on one TV is not as good as I expected, but again I have no complaints on the TV I am rating in this review..
Summary: Good picture, nice options for connecting it to devices, supports network play and netflix. Overall, it's a great TV. But the 3D kind of sucks. Don't know if it's the TV or the glasses or even the BD-3D discs themselves, i've watched a lot of 3D movies on this TV and there is always horrible ghosting. LG customer service was really crappy about it too. Just said 3D was a new technology and that I have to deal with it.
Summary: Its been a little over 2 years since I bought this TV. The warranty is now gone. When the TV is plugged in with any kind of HDMI or component device IE cable-box, laptop, blue-ray, xbox etc. (pretty much anything I own), it becomes stuck and cannot be accessed by remote or physical buttons. It locks out and starts to go crazy, menu hopping, turning volume up/down, switching inputs.
Summary: I have this tv for almost 3 years now And I feel like if I just got it new, I love it, I will like to see updates that will put an app to browser the web or something like that on the spot that says coming soon on netcast, but I love this tv.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
Summary: I really like my new LG TV. The picture quality is very sharp, clean and clear. Before purchasing a TV I did do allot of research and comparing. I found for the size and features this LG TV was and is by far the best value for your money. The 3D looked good at the store but the glasses for the TV are a bit expensive. The newer models you can use any 3D glasses, and I wish that I could do that for this TV.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: I bought this TV less then a year ago and today the whole screen went grey. Completely grey and washed out while I was watching TV... Just happened out of the blue. Talked to LG tech support and they said to unplug it and then hold the power button down for 10 secs, then plug it bak in and turn it on... But it did not help. TV is still grey... Not just the picture but everything, even the menus, etc. Thank goodness it is still under warranty.
Summary: When I was ready to buy this product I looked for a product that had as many features as possible and was a product not only for the right price, but also for a brand that was recomended by their customers, as well as Consumer Report. I beileve this product was perfect for me now, and when I purchase in 2010. I will definitely will purchase this brand again, for being my first LG product in my home, I'm sold on the brand.
