Summary: Got the TV at Christmas. Love the HD picture, very clear. However, I've yet to view 3-D like I saw in the store on the same model. I purchased 4 3D movies which were rated high in 3D but didn't see anything in 3D. Called tech support to see if I was doing something wrong but I wasn't. Later found out (but not from tech support) that I needed a Hi-speed HDMI cable. Bought one, connected it correctly but still no 3D.
Summary: I have had this TV for 7 months now. My major issue (and review) is with the Apps. I ditched satellite and went the Over the Air HD and Internet (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc) route. So when I found this TV on sale with the built in Apps I thought it was a great decision. Not so. Since day one the Apps had issues. They take a good time to load, thats fine, but when they do load they don't always work. Especially after this last software update it has got worse.
Summary: i bought this TV but had to return it. By all means it is a good TV. the only bad thing i had with it i couldn't update Adobe Flash player. On this TV it has a 8.0 and the new video to view is a 10.3. So you are stuck with the 8.0 flash player. if LG update this problem that you can update, i will buy it again. The time now is web browsing from your TV.
Summary: This TV has a great picture And the 3D PQ is good. My problem with this TV is a video / audio sync problem. This TV is part of my HTS. I have tried to run my satellite receiver HDMI signal through the TV and then the Digital Optical audio out to my A/V receiver, but the TV does not pass the DD5.1 signal to the A/V receiver. And, that is not acceptable to me. That means I have to send the DD5.1 signal directly from the satellite receiver to the A/V receiver.
