Summary: I have had this set for 2 months over 2 years. It worked beautifully, the 3D was awesome, picture in 2 D was great. The other day we watched it in the morning, turned it off, left to run errands, came home, switched it back on and had the white screen of death. We have tried everything to reset it it, no luck. Still have the white screen of death. Needless to say, my husband and 6 year old are mad as wet hens. I'm not to happy myself.
Summary: Let me start by saying I may not be your average reviewer. I work in AV support at a large well know company. I know good AV when I see it and I HAVE seen it when I had my 47LD650. That was an amazing TV - thanks LG! So when I saw this bundle (the 47LW5300 and 3D BR-player) I thought that LG would blow my sock off again. Alas I am (really) disappointed with the TV's ability to upscale/trumotion/keep-up etc etc. My LD650 was flawless.
Summary: I have had this TV package for nearly a year and half now. I have no complaints about it's quality, though an easier to use menu would be great. The quick menu works great, but a little hard to understand the functions. Mainly the picture size and quality. It has great 3D view, especially since you use none powered type 3D glasses. Don't need to worry about battery dying or extra wires.
Summary: Since I Bought this set, I've been enjoying both 3D and Bluray movies. However the player I got with this unit did not last any time at all. I had to buy another unit(different brand) The glasses are fine, I bought more to supply the amount of viewers. I'm totally satisfied with the TV. The LED-LCD is very good.
Summary: I never write reviews and i just had to for this tv! The picture is awesome the 3d is like being at the movies and the glasses from the movies work with this tv! Honestly get it you wont be dissapointed.
Summary: Best TV I have ever had the luck to own. The addition of the 3D Dvd blue ray player make it ownly better. Man when I of when I was growing up with a B&W 19" TV getting 3 snowy channels and I now I have 1000+ perfect channels and 3D. I am living large.
Summary: Ever since going to the theater to see the 3d re-release of avatar, I'd been doing research on the new series of 3d tv's. My older (1995) 50" flat panel projection tv was still compatible with most components, but it had no hdmi inputs, and it was starting to show it's age (not to mention it weighed 300 lbs vs. the 60lbs of this tv). It's hard to look for a smaller tv to replace a big screen, but I decided to wait out the inevitable price drop.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
