Summary: I bought this TV with the expectation that the sound was going to be sub-par. I had read the reviews on both sides of the scale, hearing that the sound was not fantastic and was bad in a large room. I entertain several guests, and I was hoping for better sound. It comes out tinny at big points in movies, and I regretfully say I will have to buy a sound bar for this. I owned an Olevia 32" before this, and I never had any problems with the sound.
Nice looking TV, ok picture quality; rating based mainly on price paid

Summary: This is a very good looking set; piano black w/ a pretty thin bezel. Looks good on my wall. I know that this is the entry-level set, so I'm not too upset by some of it's flaws. But there are some: -Compared to my LG Plasma (PM4700 series) and another Samsung LED (D8000 series), the color isn't as deep/vibrant. They look a little pale. I've tried custom tuning as well as the picture wizard. -There's also more blur in fast-paced scenes.
Summary: I'm no "techy", just somebody looking for a bigger, nicer TV within our budget. I stalked/compared prices in Target, Walmart- anywhere I went- for months so when I saw this offer I knew it was THE BEST price for this quality TV. Like the other reviews said, the sound could be better, but you can't beat the picture quality while watching football! It's like you could pick the players off the screen!
Summary: The LG TV I purchased is exactly what I wanted, the TV arrived on time, well packaged and ready to set up. The price was great. The sound is good but probably not great although my hearing isn't the best, a sound bar took care of that. The picture is very good. I'm enjoying the TV very much and would highly recommend this TV.
Summary: Nice tv for the money. Not quite as "sharp" as my two Sharps but really do not have any complaints (I really believe it is due to signal strength of provider). Amazon got it to us quickly and in good shape. Packaging was nice.
Summary: I had been using an old Sony WEGA 1080i CRT set for the past 10 years or so, not even sure if large LCD panels were even in the Big Box Stores yet, if they were they were very expensive, CRT and projection was still the norm for common folk. A week ago today I had a sudden impluse urge to buy a new set and very quickly came to the LG 47LS4600 based on price and useful features.
Summary: I purchased this tv through Amazon and shipping was great the tv arrived without a scratch. please note that although this tv does have an ethernet option is not a smart tv, meaning that it will not access the internet or use apps on its own. You will need a smart tv upgrader or a smart blueray player to do so. In my opinion this is the best option because by using smart tvs we are asking them to be similar to smart phones.
