Summary: I bought this TV new at Walmart back in October 2013.. so after having not even 2 years the screen went black. We contacted the LG company and found out this model is a 2010 not a 2013. So if anyone wants to check the date on this its on the back of tv. So they gave a number for repair..
Summary: The backlights on our 18 month old set are failing. They started flickering about six months ago. And now one portion of the screen is permanently dimmed. I liked this set a lot until this problem arose.
Summary: We have purchased two of these and have been very pleased with them. I purchased another brand for a cave that we own and have not been nearly as pleased. Good choice and you won't be disappointed, that is, unless you wanted a pony or maybe a puppy instead.

Summary: Pros: Price looks good Cons: The TV stopped working after 14 months of light use mounted on the wall. It does not display anymore and conveniently the warranty runs out in 12 months, so with prices for TVs today - do you fix a TV for $250 or buy a new one for $600? Very disappointed.
Summary: I have spent a considerable amount of time researching for power saving products. All lamp bulbs replaced with energy efficient bulbs using a quarter percent of what original bulb used. This Smart TV is rated at $8 annual cost. Eight (8) dollars! (based upon so many hours per day).
Summary: This TV produces an uncanny life like picture. It is so much better than my previous ordinary LCD screen TV. I had some problems with the smart functions on the TV at first. I could not connect to the internet through my wireless router.
Summary: The TV is only 2 years old and the screen suddenly went "black". I called LG Customer Service and was told it needed a repair - which would likely cost more than the TV is worth. The bad review is because I feel that a newer LED TV should last longer than just over 2 years.
