Summary: FYI, lowering backlight seems to help with the edge shadowing and dark artifacting. Here are some of the settings that worked best for me. Start by selecting APS preset. Then disable dynamic contrast, but put dyamic colors on medium. Set energy saving to off.
Pros: This is a big value size tv, sure its not a smart 3d tv or 4k, but its also 200 to 1000 dollars cheaper then those tv's. It is 1080P however, and its cheaper and lighter then a plasma. The contrast is amazing on this tv , it gets very bright, so bright I had to actually turn the brightness down i...
Cons: While the tv is crisp, clear, bright, and colorful, the black level is not as good as a plasma but its not bad. And while this is only noticable on a dark screen, I notice backlight artifacting on the bottom of the screen, again not noticable when lit. Although, when screen is lit, I notice miner...
Summary: I don't have much to say with regards to image quality, it's a TV and as long as it displays and it's doing what it's supposed to do I'm happy. The way I determine a TVs worth is by how long it lasts, and this TVs life was disappointingly short.
Summary: Fantastic! Why would I spend $300 more dollars for a few more inches? This is right under that 50inch Gold mark, and well over the quality I expected. Beautiful picture. Plus all I need is a usb to watch my videos!
Summary: Looks beautiful and packaged very carefully. My only complaint was that the delivery driver dropped the TV on my front porch and just took off. He didn't ring the doorbell or notify anyone that a $500 package was sitting out for anyone to grab.
Summary: The TV arrived and looked great on the outside but once it was plugged in I found out that the screen was damaged. Some of the previous reviews had mentioned this happened to them with the first one they received but that the replacement was received in good order.
Summary: We love our new LG TV! The picture is crystal clear down to the pores on faces and fur on animals. It's always a risk when you buy electronics without seeing the picture live before buying it, but in this case the reviews were excellent and I agree with them.
Summary: I've never purchased a TV by myself before...and, most certainly never purchased a TV online. Well, the experience was delightful and the TV couldn't be better. It was packaged beautifully. The picture is crisp and clear. The sound is wonderful. And, quite frankly, it's very easy to operate.
Summary: No complaints so far, very good for the price, satisfied. Was kinda having second thoughts after I read some negative reviews regarding color contrast, black not being perfect black, etc. but I think these are technicalities.
Pros: This was my first flatscreen LCD, so I didn't wanna spend too much money on it. Very easy and quick to set up Decent picture quality Picture calibration quick and easy
Cons: Only 2 HDMI ports The 2 near edge stands make it unsuitable for narrow tables;Should have a center stand
