Pros: - Great picture - Great value (bought for $799 on ShellShocker) - Great looks even when turned off (thin, silvery...awesome!) - Smart remote is novel
Cons: - Smart remote is difficult to use when trying to type letters in. You have to point at individual letter, so any hand shaking is an issue - Really brutal signal connection strength. It loses the connection almost every time when trying to run HD content via Plex. I just use a flashdrive to watch...
Summary: The remote is fantastic, all the above negative comments had me worried. but i can't imagine using my tv w/o it. Play w it a few days before judging.
Pros: Smart features and 3d work way better than what I was expecting. Didn't think I would use these features at all but they have become part of our entertainment lifes. 2d - 3d conversion adds a lot of depth. But if you use a 3d format it as good as the theater, in fact you can even use theater glas...
Cons: A small amount of light bleed through on a all black screen, but untotable with content playing. When you change inputs hovering magic remote pointer over new source is the only way to change it if you had powered off previous source. not too annoying but would be a great fix.
Summary: This is my 2nd LG smart TV. I also own a 55" LM7600 and these are by far the best TV's I have ever seen. Thin design and decent network speeds. I suppose the blacks could be darker but that's the same on every TV I have ever viewed so it does not bother me at all.
Pros: Great picture. Quick start up. Nice set of apps. Very nice bezel and stand.
Pros: Best looking tv i ever had, both the picture and the tv itself. 3D works well with 3D content, but even the 2D to 3D does the job. I can play Skyrim in 3D without taxing my video card too much. Ain't worst than the Wolverine in 3D I saw I theatre anyway.
Cons: Smart tv is bad. It's slow, it's award, switching input takes forever and the magic remote is bad. I solved half the problems by downloading the android remote app on my phone. It's not just Lg's implementation of smart tv that is abs, smart tv are bad. Hook up a pc or an Xbox it will be better.
Summary: Overall I give the Unit 8.5 out of 10. For the price you won't find a better TV.. I did loads of research and found this to be the best possible option for the price. The "Soap Oprah effect" can be dealt with by turning off the "smooth picture" mode.
Pros: Picture-9 Blacks-8.5 Design-10 Smart features-7 Remote-9 (If you like the feel of a mouse, you will love it) sound-8 (lacks base..Obviously)
Cons: Judder - 6 (common within LED models, this occurs when the camera is panning slowly side to side) Glossy screen -7.5 (great at night, takes a hit in the day.. But looks fantastic when the set is off.. very attractive and may i say much easier to clean then a mat screen)
Summary: TV gets a 4 because the clouding and light bleed was disappointing. Once you get around it, it's not that bad and the TV quality is so good that you won't really be bothered by it.
Pros: - Sharp image with great colors after tweaking - Great 3D and options (includes glasses) - Aesthetically wonderful. Very thin bezel. - Decent built-in speakers - MagicRemote works like a Wii Remote. It's not perfect but it does a good job. Recommend replacing cheap included batteries with Energiz...
Cons: - With EdgeLit technology, there is a noticeable clouding and light bleed along some edges. Please keep in mind that if you have this issue, THE TV IS NOT BAD. This is a side-effect of this type of technology. If you want to eliminate this, get a Plasma or backlit LED TV. Every type of TV has its...
Summary: This is easily the nicest TV I've ever owned. As a Sony Bravia owner (3 of them) I've always been very picky about picture quality. This set meets all my expectations. I can't even begin to go over all the smart feature options. Basically, this is a computer with a massive monitor.
Pros: - Great picture - So many options - Smart features are nice - All the 3D features are better than expected
Cons: - Magic remote is annoying - Not enough connections for older devices - (optional) Ships with useless gift
Summary: I bought some curtains and reduced the backlight levels down towards the low end, and solved both cons above. However, it would be nice to be able to crank up the backlight and not get so much bleed.
Pros: 1) Vibrant Picture 2) Better than expected 3D capabilities 3) Aesthetically pleasing, bezel is nice and thin. 4) Smart TV functions well, the "Wii" remote is accurate and easy to use
Cons: 1) I have significant backlight bleed on the 3 of the four corners. 2) Glossy screen, makes it difficult to watch in a bright room.
Summary: All in all, a wonderful TV for the price!
Pros: Beautiful picture, 3D is amazing, comes wth 6 pairs of glasses, Sleek, plenty of ports and this TV was perfect on arrival. Not much that wasnt good! TV is just awesome. Even regular TV and older movies look 4 times better than before. The magic remote is easy and works VERY well. Im not sure why ...
Cons: This is the reason i only gave 4 stars. Seems like it is slow when switching to home to apps to channels. Takes up to 30 seconds to display LG home, HOWEVER this happens only the first few times. Usually it is within 5 seconds but again. Something minor and sometimes a pain. I hate waiting.
Summary: it was worth the 999.99$ spent that the hdmi and 2d to 3d needs work other then that i would have given it a 5 out of 5
Pros: the 3d to 3d was a mazing got 1 3d blueray that haed a lot of shading but 1 out of 14 now bad dont think it was the tv thow. its a good deal fore a 47" thats the 3d qualaty working on the 3rd month of having this i play wow on it to loluse it fore every thing.
Cons: the 2d to 3d not as good as i thot with the revus i seen good fore waching somthing but not fore rame like world of warcraft . seeing what pepple type to u u cant see it more like a bler and the mini map it dubels on it self making farming ore and stuff much harder lol. but i still use it in 2d. ...
