Summary: My wife and I bought this TV right after we got married as our living room TV. It is very thing and had a great picture. It has streaming services built in which is nice but you either need to connect it via ethernet or have a supported wifi usb dongle. I also loaded up some movies onto a flash drive and was able to play them directly on the tv through its usb port.
Summary: We got this as a replacement for a TV that movers broke. The price is very good, the quality is as well. Two really big pros with this TV: #1-The menu system and controls are very easy to use, especially switching inputs. #2-Sound quality is surprisingly good for built in speakers. You're not gonna replace a home theater but they're head and shoulders above typical flat panel TV sound. It's not ultra high end, but I feel the value for the $$ is high.
Summary: For a large cheaper TV this TV is great. We had the TV hanging in a room with a lot of east facing windows and the only time there was any problems with reflections or glare was early in the morning when the angle of the sun was very low and shining directly on the screen. There is a little light bleed on the corners on dark scenes but it doesn't seem to bother me when watching my shows so I'm OK with it.
Summary: Great TV for the money! Only negative I see is the audio, its not loud enough, the voice gets lost. I love the zoom button, I have two LG's and they both offer this option. Love that about LG.
Summary: Got this as a gift for my parents as they would never buy a TV like this for themselves. Assembly and setup was very quick and easy with a basic screwdriver. Once connected to all the right inputs and turned on the initial setup was smooth and quick. Took more time to teach my parents how to use it than to set it up. Picture quality is good, sound is good except when there is ambient noise in the room, then it needs to be turned up a little more than expected.
Summary: I am a technologically handicapped person, so I'm not sure of the technicalities involved. But the tv was an instant hit at my house. My husband is glued to it. It was little too big for our apartment, but we plan to shift so if you place it at a 6 feet+ viewing disatnce, that would be nice. The sound is good, we keep it in movie mode. My husband alters the viewing modes while switching between movies and sports. The clarity for sports is great.
Summary: tv was easy to set up. Excellent color saturation. Not rated 5 stars because it lacks a computer connection.haven't tried usb connection yet but it is likely to work since everything else works.
Summary: Every single broadcast or motion picture is in 60HZ, NO EXCEPTIONS. Oversampling to 120 or (worse) 240 only distorts the original, and that is why the hollow look on 120s and 240s. You will profit if you turn this model to 60HZ, I promise. The picture will not look so stark and unreal. That weird look you're seeing with 120 is not just you, it's the fact of how everything everywhere has been and is filmed in 60. 240 looks like a cartoon.
Summary: I'm very happy with this tv. Excellent picture. One thing I recommend is to either turn off or set to minimum/medium the automatic energy saver in picture mode. It tends to under adjust the picture brilliance as the light varies in the room. Also, it would be nice to have an audio output other than just optical. But overall, a great tv for a great price!
Summary: I'll make this short. The TV is awesome. My first LG and the picture quality on the "Sport" setting is good for me. I use my LG for straight internet & streaming and it looks fantastic. The only trouble I had was the HDMI cable. It was an older cable and for the life of me I thought it was the TV but no the old cable. Great TV!
