Summary: My wife and I bought this TV right after we got married as our living room TV. It is very thing and had a great picture. It has streaming services built in which is nice but you either need to connect it via ethernet or have a supported wifi usb dongle. I also loaded up some movies onto a flash drive and was able to play them directly on the tv through its usb port.
Summary: We got this as a replacement for a TV that movers broke. The price is very good, the quality is as well. Two really big pros with this TV: #1-The menu system and controls are very easy to use, especially switching inputs. #2-Sound quality is surprisingly good for built in speakers. You're not gonna replace a home theater but they're head and shoulders above typical flat panel TV sound. It's not ultra high end, but I feel the value for the $$ is high.
Summary: Great TV for the money! Only negative I see is the audio, its not loud enough, the voice gets lost. I love the zoom button, I have two LG's and they both offer this option. Love that about LG.
Summary: The set is good. the one feature that i find not best is the quality of the sound.. on a setting of 25 out of 100 it is fine.. any louder than that, and most of the time one needs higher volume, the sound tends to have a buzz behind it.. noticably if one clicks 'mute' at any point. on a different note, with all the settings that are involved in a set of this quality one was surprised to see that the clock does NOT have a battery that maintains the time during a power...
Summary: great product with energy savings, great action motion viewing, good hookup options via HDMI to computer for movies, Wii, as well as other options. Great price for options and value presented in this product. I would recommend LG televisions to any that ask!
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: I have had this TV for only a few days, but it appears to be exactly what I wanted. The LK520 LG model is very similar to the earlier model LD520 (highly rated), except that the dynamic contrast is apparently a bit better for the LK520(150K to 1 vs 100K), but I suspect that may not be that significant. INPUT-OUTPUT It has sufficient inputs (HDMI, component, etc), and outputs, although I still wish these new HDTVs had a regular stereo output (ie.
Summary: I bought this tv at frys. They had a sale so I paid about the same as I would have on amazon. Before this i owned a 50" DLP. I have owned an HD set since before I could get an HD signal. The picture on this set is amazing. This set was made for HD. The level of detail is amazing. I was worried that viewing the set from a distance of about 6 feet would be a problem. Absolutely no problem.
Summary: This is the first TV I have bought online, and the first 1080p TV I've bought. First note, when you buy this TV you are not buying any special features. Besides trumotion (which should be turned off if you are watching any HD) and clear voice (I cannot find any reason to use it) there are really no special features such as online TV. Packaging: Absolutely perfect, arrived with no defects and was properly packaged. Set up: Very quick, screw driver needed.
Summary: First we would like to let Michael @ Best Buy Southpark Meadows Austin, TX did a fantastic job assisting us with our purchase today. KUDOS TO MICHAEL!!! The initial setup with wall mount was fairly easy. The challenge was to get the correct settings depending on the type of cables being used and source of input. Unfortunately the manual were not as clear as needed.
Summary: I love my new LG tv it was the biggest size my room could support according to size vs. room size. I wish I had gone bigger but the size I have works fine. I was looking at this brand vs. it biggest competitors(S)for 3 years before I purchased. I found this to be one of the better brands and for the price and picture quality it cant be beat.
