Excerpt: I am always suprise with high quality that LG TV's have, the picture is always cystal clear and amuzing sound. I would recommend this to my friends and family members. You get your money worths when you buy LG Products.
Summary: Its been almost a year since I purchased this TV and I have not used the TV to its full potential. The TV has wireless capabilities that would have helped me limit the use of cables. The one feature that I like about this tv is its inbuilt streaming capability (Netcast). This feature enables me to keep my TV area less cluttered without the need of a separate device to stream my video and movies. Netcast, however, has limitation as it has only 7 applications.
Summary: I HAVE HAD A OTHER LG TV'S PRIOR TO THIS ONE A 42" LCD AND BOTH HAVE BEEN GOOD TV'S OVERALL .PICTURE OUSTANDING AND VIVID. I ALSO HAVE A SONY 46" LCD IN HOUSE AND BY FAR MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER WANTS TO TAKE MY TV OUT OF MY ROOM AND PLACE IN THE LIVING ROOM ,,BUT ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ESPECIALLY THE LED " LE5400 " THE NETFLIX ON IT LOOKS GOOD ,BUT REALLY SHINES WITH VUDU HD .... WHOAAA,,,, FORGET BUYING BLURAY WHEN ALL MOVIES ARE PRETTY VIVID AND ALMOST 3D LIKE.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality, streaming netflix/ vudu
Summary: Although this was my first TV, I researched a lot before deciding to buy this one. PROS: The quality is very good for the price and is very easy to use for any TV buyer. The TV also comes with presets for video watching so that you can skip adjusting color schemes and brightness changes. The features of this TV are excellent in its widgets that lets you watch netflix, youtube and other online streaming websites. This TV also comes with clearvoice tech.
Summary: This has been an excellent HD television. Everything has worked flawless. Easy set-up with all the cables you'll need plus more. I'm really getting a lot of use out of all the inputs. The USB inputs on the side are so handy for pictures. When connected to the internet, firmware updates are seamless. The NetCast (eg You-tube) capability provides almost endless viewing possibilities. I can even ebay right from my living room tv using the online widgets.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, internet capable
Summary: I Purchased this TV over a year ago. I don't believe in writing reviews until you've had a product for awhile. Anyway, the picture quality is amazing, as well as all the features. I have more than enough inputs to match my home theater set-up, plus 2 game consoles and I use the USB slots for pictures, music, and downloaded video. It's really fantastic. I wish the design was a little more edgy instead of rounded and less glossy.
Summary: I like LG. I had several TVs before. And they all was of good quality and very reliable. I like this TV because it has built in media and NetFlix players. It is DLNA compatible! Colors are good except black. What I do not like is lack of: audio output for my stereo system, zoom while playing/streaming video.
Summary: We purchased the 47LE5400 on sale from BB great buy, but we are having issues after it runs for three hours, the screen fractures in HD. If you go back to normal digital, it isn't visible. We have our set on a console two feet from the wall the speakers sounded fine, but we purchased a POLK sound bar to replace our surround system and that sometimes will have a slight delay behind the visual. The auto sound is nice, but you can't find instructions for it.
Summary: I upgraded from a tube tv. My first impression was that the picture was fantastic. Blueray, regular DVD player and regular tv picture are great. But after a few weeks started to notice small issues that are common with lcd/led tvs (halo effect). I still am trying to figure out the best picture for my viewing habits. I feel that the Trumotion feature makes the picture really clear but increases the halo effect, jitters and "fake look.
