Excerpt: We bought this television a few years ago, as we needed a flat panel TV to save on space, and to keep the kids from being able to reach it. We did a lot of research at the time, and thought this was the better value for what we needed. The picture quality is very good, and in the 4 years we've had it, we only have one line where the picture quality is messed up. It's the size of a pencil line - my husband notices it, I can't even tell.
Summary: I put off getting an HD TV for years until prices came down and selection became wider. I looked at a lot of HDtv's in this size and this had the best picture quality of any, even sets of larger sizes and LED units.
Summary: This TV is a very good value for the price. The Netflix app works great. Picture quality on this set is very good during bright scenes but struggles a bit in darker scenes with a grainy appearance in the dark areas.
Summary: I purchased this set about two weeks ago and have had some time to put it through its paces. Price/Value: The sale price I paid was and excellent value compared to other TVs of comparable size/features. Picture: The picture is beautiful, once properly calibrated. The built-in preset picture modes are lousy, with poor color reproduction, so I used a blu-ray calibration disc to set up a custom mode. This was slow and tedious, but once it was done the picture was beautiful.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Quality, netflix and youtube streaming, value
Cons: messed up aspect ratios playing some files via usb, broken dlna client
