Summary: I've had my Lg for three years. Never once had issues. Very nice sound and picture. My next tv will be the same. Maybe bigger lol. I've had 2 vizio's and 1 Soney. One of the vizio's never worked. The other only lasted a year. The Soney was iffy. Sometimes the sound worked other times it didn't.
Summary: We purchased this TV as a Lease to own brand new out of the box when we got it. Have had to put it into repair shop two times in less than one year for the same problem. TV turns itself off and will not turn back on.

Summary: I've been very happy with this LG set. I previously used a 6 year-old Westinghouse LCD that progressively became un-watchable. A comparison of the two is not valid. I have owned the set for about 2 months.

Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
Summary: I've been happy with my Panasonic 50-inch plasma in the living room and wanted another, smaller 42-inch for the bedroom a year later but I found the LG was 100 dollars cheaper, selling for $470 with free shipping on Amazon, so I took a chance. So far I'm glad I did. Set-up was easy.
