Summary: We've owned this TV for about 6 months. Last night it started buzzing loudly. The pitch and volume of the buzz vaired with what was being displayed. The whiter/brighter the scene the louder/higher pitched the buzz. Powering down and even unplugging the unit didn't correct the issue.
Pros: + Appearance + Picture quality + Build quality + LG customer support
Cons: - Touch buttons on front panel work about 50% of the time - Heavy
Pros: Amazing picture! Tons of inputs on back and the side. Stand seems sturdy. First HDTV and I must say it was a good choice. Even with only being 720p, I don't think you are going to find a better value with better quality.
Cons: *minor* The remote buttons are a little screwy. They work, but the placement of the enter and arrow keys is not ideal for my fat fingers. You don't buy a tv for the remote which is why this tv gets 5 eggs.
Summary: I got mine for $480 a month ago. Picture quality is superb. Don't use this unit in a bright room. You will notice the glare. You don't need 1080p to watch broadcast HD. All HD channels are transmitted in 1080i or 720p. And 720p is still stunning on a smaller 42-inch screen.
Summary: I really vacillated at buying a plasma vs LCD. Glad I went this way for my bedroom. The picture quality is stunning. Action smoothly flows and the color range is good throughout, without blowouts or faked up color. Play with the adjustments some to fine tune if you like.
Pros: Pic quality Quality build good sound for a flat screen. The surround setting helps. pretty low energy useage self adjusting brightness
Cons: not 1080, but if you don't watch DVDs who cares? Nothing is broadcast in 1080p anyways. The pic is great enough that you won't care.
Great Picture, Great Value, But HDMI Audio Issues .

Summary: Recently purchased this LG 42PJ350 42" 720p Plasma TV online for under five hundred bucks delivered. (Amazon says this one year old model has been available "since 2003" ? An obvious misprint.
Summary: 600hz and 1,000,000: 1 contrast ratio......... I think that'll do
Pros: Unfrakinbelievable picture.... seriously it needed a new word.
Cons: sound not awsome but thats why we buy home theater speakers for these TV's.. Only real con is that plasmas reflect light b/c they have a mirror finish; so don't put it in a bright room or you will hate it for a bedroom perfect.
Summary: I am not a videophile but I will say that my other TV is a 50" Pioneer Kuro plasma TV purchased right as Pioneer exited the TV business, so I have very high standards when it comes to picture quality.
Pros: It would be nice if you shipped to Mexico but this is a great product. I buy abit of electronics from Newegg. Watched this in store and it compared favorably to plasma units costing 3 times as much. I am excited waiting for them to deliver it to house.
Cons: Reflection off the screen is a con for all plasma units. Other TVs had mounting nutws set in the back of screen. This unit in MX does not have wall attach fasteners. owmer manual talks of a VESA mount. Not an issue for me as a stand awaiting the unit
Summary: Great Plasma TV set, no it is not 1080P but with an HD signal with an HDMI cable you will be more than satisfied with your purchase. This is our second set (same model etc). We were so happy with the first one we got for our family room, that we purchased a second set as a computer monitor.
Summary: This is my first time writing a review. Well, I love LG and this is my first 42" plasma and Happy with it! Almost everything in my apartment are from Amazon and always satisfy with their Shipping and services, it is free, fast and safe. Thank you!
