Summary: If you want a "no frills" TV with the right numbers for a good picture, this is it. Delivered without incident. However, TV's this size & larger BEG for a HD signal, so if you don't have the service don't bother. Great picture
Summary: Love this TV. The sound is not the best, but why would you depend on a TV for sound? I much rather have all the work go into the picture than the audio. Leave that for the speakers systems/ receivers. Am super impressed with the weight and thickness of the screen.
Summary: Ordered the TV for a family gift. Made rough measurements of the space we had and figured it would work. Unfortunately, when we set it up, it was way too big for the space. I ended up sending it back. The return process was a snap.
Summary: I bought the LG 42LV4400 42-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV after having read some of the bad reviews and was apprehensize. I can honestly say I am content with the purchase. As others have alluded to, for the price it is a great buy, but if you are looking to buy a high-end, ultra clear tv, then I...
Summary: So far I am pleased with the purchase of LG TV. It has been many years since I purchased a television and after checking prices, I decided to make the purchase. The picture quality is great too.
Summary: Bought it for $509. Love the picture, crisp, sharp and great for action films and ball games. The only not great thing about this TV is the very weak sound that is coming out of the speakers. I use a receiver with it so its not an issue for me. Thin, light and looks great!
Summary: I was looking for a replacement television for my grandfather, due to his Sanyo TV power supply circuit-board going bad. Knowing he was on a budget I found a television this 42 Lg to replace his Sanyo.
Summary: I got this HDTV for my apartment about a month ago, and so far there hasn't been any problems with it. The picture is crystal clear quality, and the design/frame looks very slick. However the sound is a little weak, but you can always add in your own speakers to fix that.
Summary: I was looking for a TV for my bedroom and this one has all the features I wanted + a few more. I was mainly concerned with picture and just wanted something that was 40"+, 1080p, and 120hz refresh rate. Most TVs I looked at were around the same price as this one, but either house brands or not LED.
Pros: 1080p, 120hz, 3 HDMI inputs, LED screen = super slim and light design + great picture, easy to setup and use, and comes with its own stand.
Cons: Honestly my biggest complaint is probably where the input button is on the controller. It's placed at the top, away from all the other "action" buttons like channel, volume, favorites, and menu. Very minor issue, though it took me a little to get used to. No problems otherwise. (happy to say no d...
