Summary: My TV also had a power problem as other reviewers had said. I seldom watch TV, so probably I was the last person who recognized this TV had a power failure. I found this problem a couple of weeks ago. At first, I didn't think this TV had a power problem cuz I hadn't turned on TV for a long time.
Summary: Everyone seems to have had bad luck with this TV but I bought mine in May 2011 and am still getting god picture and have had no problems. Maybe I just got lucky but I think this is a great buy which I almost never say this long after buying anything.
Summary: Ordered this TV just a little over a year ago... Like many other reviewers, my tv will no longer turn on. I called LG, and they would not honor the warranty (which, admittedly, had expired) until I told them I knew it was a known issue.
Summary: I own this TV for only 16 months. We rarely use it and we got the common "power won't turn on" issue as many other customers had experienced. This looks like a very common failure if you google it. I won't buy any product from LG again.
Summary: Originally chose this LED backlit TV expecting it to last longer than the standard backlit models. But as other have remarked, this model is prone to dying because of power supply issues. So, right now I have a dead TV after only 14 months of use.
Summary: I bought a 37" LG LCD 720p TV back in 2007 and love it. It was time to upgrade and i came upon this TV and bought it for a great price refurbished. Being refurbished, i was a little concerned but have had the TV for a little more that two months and I'm extremely happy with my purchase.
Summary: for 363 days my 42 led was fine ,then it had a power failure,had to take it down from the wall drive 60 miles,to get it repaired,still waiting to get it back.this is not the product to buy,nor should you buy any of this companys products!
