Summary: iv purchased this tv yesterday on amazon and im now waiting for it 2 be delivered.. i got it to replace my toshiba 40 inch lcd that i got off amazon for £380 in jan 2011.. i picked this 1 as my mate has a lg plasma which he has had for 4 years & its still going strong.. picture quality and sound are far better than mine.. yet its plasma no led.. i could swear its led the picture is so good but he prooved 2 me its plasma..
Summary: For the value and functionality you get on this TV, it's such a bargain without forsaking any quality. I use it primarily for gaming and for me, graphics and visuals matter - this screen lives up to everything i expected from LG and more.
Summary: Great TV! Stand is very poor quality and doesn't fit properly( Design Flaw) in my opinion. This is a shame as the TV is very good quality. Picture when not in 1080p mode isn't as good and in fact looks "blurred" But this is down to the quality of HD. When all Channels are in HD quality this would be perfect.
Summary: The TV is great, however, beware that the Ethernet connection on the back is only for network updates. My windows laptop can see the TV on the network, and even installs it as a upnp media renderer, however, nothing happens when I try to push media to it - DLNA is not supported. Easy fix though with Chrome Cast dongle, Roku, or raspberry pi with XBMC for your smart features.
Summary: I have bought LG tv's before and was amazed by the LCD models which where fantastic (and still are). This newer model Is LED and i can say that it is the most amazing picture quality that i have ever seen and that was only in standard digital reception. On the Hd reciever (built in) the picture was phenomenal. if you buy this tv you will not be disappointed. The sound on the tv is very good, with different choices for the user.
