Summary: Still very happy with it. Bought in 2013. Great value. 3D great for blu-ray moviesbut over-hyped addon for converting 2D-3D on the telly. No real gain to be honest - keep to the proper 3D channels or discs. No faults with the unit, plenty of ports for everything and easy to use menu function. Go get one.
Summary: I have had this TV for at least 18 months now (2012), hence I can report with confidence that this TV is reliable and sturdy with all the great functions of a Smart TV, not that I have utilised them all as yet! We do not use the 3 D very much at all, although we have used the 3D glasses when at the cinema to save on their charges! But if you watch a lot of 3 D DVD's, then you will appreciate this function.
Summary: When the £440 price is taken into consideration along with the free delivery all the way to Shetland, it would be childish to complain about this set. The 2D and 3D picture quality is excellent and only slightly behind the latest model which costs twice the price. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is because the much vaunted Dual Play function doesn't work very well.
Summary: This is a great television but with one annoying feature, the sound synchronisation keeps going out and I have to reboot the television often every week and sometimes twice a week, does anyone have a cure for this?
Summary: Was very please with this TV until it broke only after a month, the screen just went blank, however Amazons customer service were very quick to help and offer alternatives (as the TV was out of stock at the time) and LG offered to collect, fix and return the TV.
Summary: I did my research on my hunt for a new TV and I didn't take buying this TV lightly. It is great for gaming, hardly any input lag... It's passive 3D is also great. I highly recommend this TV for this price.
Summary: The first one we ordered in December quickly developed a vibration noise on its speakers, we contacted LG who twice took it in to fix, both time the TV was away the best part of a week and was retruned by LG stating it was fixed. This was not true and the sound quality was terrible. Amazon were very good when we contacted them and instantly arranged a replacement, but sadly the next TV was even worse. Not only did the sound vibrate but the picture broke up too.
Summary: I've written a review on the 2013 model LG 55LA620V 55-inch Widescreen 1080p Full HD Cinema 3D Smart LED TV with Freeview HD/Built-In Wi-Fi , and I have to say that although I was disappointed with that model in terms of value for money, I am extremely pleased with this model. I've compared both, and although I am not an expert in 3D or high-tech gadgets, the 3D and 2D both look equally stunning.
Summary: I had been considering at TV upgrade and the price and this model was just right. Although supposedly used, the label said it had been manufactured in Dec12, so it cannot be more than 3 months old. It was immaculate and no signs of scratched etc. Setting up was fairly easy: connections for blu-ray player and cable box obvious. A LAN for internet access and I had also purchased a wifi dongle (extra).
