Outstanding TV in both 2D and 3D

Malcolm Johnson, Amazon
9 September 2013
  • Summary: When the £440 price is taken into consideration along with the free delivery all the way to Shetland, it would be childish to complain about this set. The 2D and 3D picture quality is excellent and only slightly behind the latest model which costs twice the price. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is because the much vaunted Dual Play function doesn't work very well.

Broke after a month!

17 July 2013
  • Summary: Was very please with this TV until it broke only after a month, the screen just went blank, however Amazons customer service were very quick to help and offer alternatives (as the TV was out of stock at the time) and LG offered to collect, fix and return the TV.

  • Summary: I did my research on my hunt for a new TV and I didn't take buying this TV lightly. It is great for gaming, hardly any input lag... It's passive 3D is also great. I highly recommend this TV for this price.

terrible sound

Mrs C, Amazon
8 May 2013
  • Summary: The first one we ordered in December quickly developed a vibration noise on its speakers, we contacted LG who twice took it in to fix, both time the TV was away the best part of a week and was retruned by LG stating it was fixed. This was not true and the sound quality was terrible. Amazon were very good when we contacted them and instantly arranged a replacement, but sadly the next TV was even worse. Not only did the sound vibrate but the picture broke up too.

Comparing 2012 and 2013

HarvardAlum321, Amazon
14 April 2013
  • Summary: I've written a review on the 2013 model LG 55LA620V 55-inch Widescreen 1080p Full HD Cinema 3D Smart LED TV with Freeview HD/Built-In Wi-Fi , and I have to say that although I was disappointed with that model in terms of value for money, I am extremely pleased with this model. I've compared both, and although I am not an expert in 3D or high-tech gadgets, the 3D and 2D both look equally stunning.

Very smart TV

J. P. Boot "Jeremy Boot", Amazon
27 March 2013
  • Summary: I had been considering at TV upgrade and the price and this model was just right. Although supposedly used, the label said it had been manufactured in Dec12, so it cannot be more than 3 months old. It was immaculate and no signs of scratched etc. Setting up was fairly easy: connections for blu-ray player and cable box obvious. A LAN for internet access and I had also purchased a wifi dongle (extra).

25 March 2013
  • Summary: Well made LG product. Great picture and sound. Easy to set up. 3D is quite amazing and only requires the non-battery glasses-light and comfortable.

Very Dissappointed

Mr. Shaun Bradley "Bradders", Amazon
28 February 2013
  • Summary: A very welcome Christmas present from my wife this year until Sunday 24th February. The TV looked good and performed well until this date. The screen developed several horizontal black lines across it which was annoying, so doing the IT refresh of turning it off and back on again seemed to rectify it. However, 15 minutes later same problem but worse, more lines and constantly rolling up and down the screen.

Simply awesome!

Salty Dog, Amazon
15 February 2013
  • Summary: The TV arrived today and was up and running in a matter of minutes. Our last new set was four years old and cost over twice the £450 (no VAT on Amazon deliveries to Jersey!) we paid for this and the simplicity and lack of electric string shows just how far technology has moved on! Plugging in the new LG home cinema system and PS3 was a sinch and worked first time.
