It is a HDTV that is Energy Star® 4.0 qualified.

Features

The LG 42LD450 LCD TV supports Full HD 1080p output with detailed local dimming of up to 240 addressable segments resulting in deeper black levels and uniform picture quality. The LG 42LD450 also features TruMotion 120Hz for reduced motion blur during fast moving action sequences. Other features on the LCD TV includes Clear Voice II which is an enhancement to Clear Voice technology and customizes the volume settings by 12 distinct voice zoom levels without diminishing other surrounding sounds.
