Summary: my tv is 7 years old now and besides the powering on issue I've had for the last four years (ie takes 15 mins to power on), a new problem arose last week. my analog audio inputs don't work. l can see the picture on the screen but no audio whatsoever from any analog audio input.

Summary: ok. Lets say this: another impulsive buy. I had a bad day, next thing you know, I was gazing at tvs in best buy. I didn't know much at all about the differences 720, 1080, plasma, lcd. etc etc. So I learned as much as possible in say, a 4 hour time span and this was the tv I picked.
Summary: newegg is selling last years model at the same price as this years (which is not on the site). I didn't realize this until after I purchased it. I think the only difference is another HDMI input and a blue light on the front. This should have been more clear to me.
Pros: Excellent picture quality overall (after tuning). Sound is decent. Black finish does reflect but I like the look.
Cons: I wish the inputs faced down instead of rear for better wall mounting. Color OOTB stinks. Way too contrasty and bright. I have no idea what channels I am watching since there are no labels, it should pull this info automatically.
Summary: I am happy that most people who gave good reviews for this tv are happy, sadly I am not one of them. I bought this tv back in march 2008. two months later, a red vertical line showed up on the screen. I called Lg since of course it is under warranty and they sent a repairman to diagnos the problem.
Summary: Everything in my house from washer and dryer, Microwaves, Refrigerator, Surround Sound are all LG. I've been using LG since they started making electronics with the name LG, and I can honestly say, I'll never buy a different brand. For anyone questioning LG's quality, or longevity...
Pros: You simply won't find a better LCD TV for the price, and not to mention, it's an LG. 3x HDMI's come in extra handy for components, Optical, RBG connection for PC hook up. I also play a few online MMO's, and it's a blast playing on this TV / Monitor. The picture quality is absolutely amazing, and ...
Cons: Absolutely none. Some people mention the glossy black frame catching / reflecting light, I have mine in a living room that has very little actual "wall" space, it's all windows... The picture is so vivid and crisp, I'd have to focus on the the frame to notice reflection. Wouldn't matter if it wer...
Summary: AIT call for a delivery date but the delivered the TV 2 days early............no problem for me. The first thing i did with it was play GTA 4 on the 360.....................WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW !!!!!! and then watched the movie 300 on my blue ray dvd .......WOOOOOOOOW!
Pros: Pound for pound this TV is great. The picture and sound for the price cant be beaten.
Summary: I actually had a very good experience with AIT. They called to set up a delivery (11 to 2 only on weekdays!) but they also gave me the option of picking it up at their warehouse which was a ten minute drive away.
Pros: A lot of TV for the money. Like the black trim. Easy to set up. Nice picture...or an amazing picture if you're upgrading from an oldschool CRT like me.
Cons: Remote is a bit ugly, like the other guy said. I'm guessing you'll probably be looking more at the screen than the remote, however.
