Bonnye C. Briggs "Rain Writer", Amazon
21 May 2013
Summary: LG television never worked. When removed from the box there were two holes in the packing material and when plugged into the wall only black screen with large spider web of cracks showed on the screen. This is a totally non-functioning TV set. Item is being returned to Amazon.
Poor Picture Quality, No Way to Connect to Home Theater, Soundbar
12 December 2012
Summary: I have owned this television for approximately four months now, and I am extremely disappointed in nearly every meaningful category. The remote is poorly designed and un-intuitive compared to most comparable products. One has to first press the "TV" button and then a separate "POWER" button every single time, which though only a minor annoyance, is hard to explain. The picture quality is very poor for an item of this price.
Summary: I purchased this from Amazon...worked fine and then just quit--no power--no light. Contacted LG customer service three times, and they keep giving me the run-around. I think the power supply board failed which I read that they are notorious for... I will NEVER buy any LG product ever!! JUNK...JUNK...CAVEAT EMPTOR...BUYER BEWARE.
Summary: It is a nice TV for a year. Weird but my luck the screen started flashing and the tv would turn self off 13 days after the limited 1 year warrenty expired. I told myself not another LG due to the one I was replacing was a 3 year old 32 inch LG LCD that the mother board gave out in and after the 1st year the TV tuner stoped working so I used it as only with hdmi.
Summary: We purchased this LG TV from Amazon on Nov 29, 2010 for $550. We also purchased an extended warranty from ServiceNet for $69.99 for 3 years (in fact 2 years because the manufacturer covers year 1). The TV started having problems in early 2012 (approximately 14 months after purchase)with a green band covering the left side of the TV (intermittent but consistent).
