Summary: Absolutely fantastic TV. Cannot fault it on anything significant (and that is rare!). Still extremely pleased with purchase more than a year later. I had a similarly priced Hanspree 40" LED TV a few months before this purchase and it was good but certainly surpassed by the LG. Picture is sharp & bright for TV/movies/gaming all excellent, menus are clear & full of features, power saving mode is excellent, brushed effect finish is far superior to awful gloss black which...
Summary: Really is excellent value for money, can't really fault it. The Freeview works wonderfully and when playing a radio station doesn't burn into the screen. You can program the Sky remote with 0206 to make it work the tv. Picture and sound quality is fine. No complaints at all. The only thing I would change is to put in a second scart socket.
Summary: Ordered this item for a friend he has the brain capacity of a boiled potato & he set it up good 1080p picture the sound is ok for tv Sound have used tv sound for twenty years my seilf he likeit so were all happy
Summary: This is a beautifully built LG TV that has decent speakers. It also has a USB input. You can connect your external hdd/ flash drive into the TV and play videos/ movies stored on them. It happily plays all industry standard formats (including divx, mkv and mp4) except DTS. It was a huge blow for me when I first found out, but then I just worked around it by building my very own HTPC.
Summary: So it's been 6 months and I'm still pleased. I'm no expert, but the TV does everything I would expect and seems fine. The picture seems fine, it has been used with a Wii console, Laptop, PC and Raspberry Pi, using composite, HDMI and European composite respectively. The speakers aren't amazing but build in speakers never are. Packaged well, arrived on time and all the features on the TV for general use work just fine! Would recommend, thanks!
