Summary: I'm an LG fan boy I guess. I've had quite a few products that were LG already, from monitors to T.V.s and phones. I've NEVER been disappointed. This beauty is no exception! Wonderful picture quality, contrast, and everything else great you can say about a flat screen. Thin, light, beautiful. No cons.
Summary: Shortly after purchase the remote failed. Contacted LG and talked with very helpful tech. Determined problem with old remote, and consequetly recieved replacement which works great. This TV is very clear and consumer friendly. I would recommend it, especially since tech support experience. Very impressed.
Summary: I ordered this tv a little over a year ago and love it! 1080p looks absolutely flawless on a screen this size, and the picture wizard allows me to tinker with the setup whenever I want with ease. The screen is bright enough to deflect a room surrounded in icicle lights (college apartment style) and three windows in the middle of the day. The optical out connected easily to my Boston Acoustics sound bar, but the sound levels were already great on the tv alone.
Summary: The first item that I received had a broken corner (outer shell), although it was working properly. I returned that one and I received the next one quickly. Overall very good impression, picture quality is great, HD content looks very good. I was surprised to see it playing almost every file format including DivX, Xvid, and MKV via USB port (not MTS filmed with my camcorder, though).
Reveiw of LG 37LV3500 37-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LED-LCD HDTV
16 May 2012
Summary: I needed a new TV and searched quite awhile to find a good one that would fit in my existing entertainment center. There were quite a few out there, but after reading reviews I took my chances and went with the LG 37LV3500 37-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LED-LCD HDTV. When it arrived UPS had managed to break through the front of the packaging and literally break the screen. Amazon was quick to make it right, and shipped a replacement that day, and I got it a couple days later.
Summary: My sturdy Phillips Ambi-Light flat-screen TV was one of the first of the larger (32") flat-screen TV's, which I purchased in 2000 as a factory refurbished and deeply discounted item. It was on pretty much all day for all these years and served me well. But the monitor finally gave out a few months ago. After some research I replaced it with the LG 37" LED-LCD flat screen TV, a size that just fits in my TV cabinet.
