Summary: First the HDMI connection quit working about 30 days ago; hooked up with composite cables. Then last night, the screen went black and would not come back on. LG website indicates that labor for TV repair is between $150 and 225, plus parts. So who the Sam &*&* is going to put that kinda of money into a 2 year-old TV, that died an early death? Just more Disposable ASIAN JUnk!
Summary: the tv came in a box that had been damage. my engineer opened it and saw the cable connection piece had been broken off in shipping. rather than inform me of this, he tried to repair it, and was to no avale. i would like to return it, but it has been altered to try to repair. please advise of your policy on this.
Summary: Nice picture but not great. No difference in clarity or sharpness moving from regular to HiDef. Went back and forth with Verizon and LG service. They both say its the other guy. Changed cables checked signal strength both at optimum. Beach Camera documentation says they won't take TV returns but after taking to an agent he said since its only 32" they'll take it back. LG service reps a big disappointment. Not good communicators, not impressed with their knowledge.
Summary: Ordered this tv as a gift for my dad. The box was dented on arrival but the tv looked fine. When we hooked it up, however, the screen was damaged. We ordered a replacement of this tv on the same day. When the replacement arrived, this box also appeared dented and, sure enough the screen on the replacement tv was also broken. Didn't try a third time!! Whether damaged in storage or damaged in shipping, it isn't worth the gamble... Go buy the tv from a store!
Summary: Not a satisfied customer at this point in time! Purchased a tv; and the image was so poor that i feel completely ripped off; extremely dissapointed and very upset. i cant even tell what is on tv when looking at it because the image is so blurry and messed up; and looks like theres tiny ants running all over the screen! looked so awful no one had ever seen such a bad image before!
Summary: Do not buy this TV because it is on sale, as I did. The picture quality is very poor. No matter what I did, I could not improve the picture quality. It made me sick to my stomach to watch this TV. I am returning it and spending more for a better TV.
Summary: The TV came with a large crack along the front edge. I was not able to hit the return window because a) I needed to follow up with the large package department, which I am unable to bc of work hours/constraits vs. large package dept hours, b) the amazon 24 hour support refused to give a direct contact so I could email my complaint and c) If I cannot call during work hours, when am I going to have the time to return the item? I ordered online bc of my constraints.
Summary: Tv wouldn't stay on any longer than 5 to 10 seconds. Returned item and am now leary about purchasing another LG. This was my first flat screen tv and I was very disappointed with the product and the customer support.
