3 months after the warranty ended the TV stopped working
21 March 2012
Summary: I would never recommend buying an LG television after this. The TV simply turned "off" and ceased working, customer service was zero assistance, and when I called for someone else to fix I was informed that LG was aware that there was a problem with these sets... The cost to fix is not worth it, I'll buy a Samsung or Sony instead!!!!!!
Summary: I was happy with it at first. I didn't really like that it didn't show the title of the movie when you changed the channel. You had to push a button each time to see what the title was. Some movies on close ups the peoples eyes seem detached from their face. That doesn't happen very often. Then after about three months I lost channel 4 than channel 62. First I thought it was just not coming in because I didn't have cable and I needed to adjust the antenna.
Summary: On the day it arrived, I plugged headphones into the jack in order to play some video games. Upon pulling the headphones out of the jack, the TV speakers did not work. The switch that detected the presence of headphones had apparently stuck. So, I called LG, who then sent a tech (no complaints with the warranty process). The tech opened the back of the TV and a few things became apparent to the tech...
Summary: I bought this TV on sale and for the first little while it was a fantastic TV, however after a while it developed a very loud buzzing sound that was heard over movies and TV...i did research and found out this is a common problem so i decided to return it to get a Toshiba TV and I am very glad i did!
Happy at un-boxing, but it was all downhill from there...

Summary: I was very happy when I saw this amazing deal for a 1080p 37" HDTV, and even though I had never had any experience with LG's television line I expected it to be good. I bought this TV for a college dorm room (approx. 15' x 20') for use with a PS3 and the cable provided by my school. I started out happy, used the TV for about 30 days, and unfortunately today I just dropped it off at UPS to be returned to Amazon for a full refund.
Summary: I edited this review on 11/16/2012 to go from 5 stars down to 2 stars. This TV of mine died after 2 years of low usage. It started to sputter after changing channels many months ago and it got worse and worse until it sputtered most of the time. You could not enjoy watching any TV show when it sputtered this way. The picture would flicker about every 10 seconds. I ended up throwing it away rather than pay $200 to have it fixed.
Summary: Very disappointing set. It's boxed back up - the Best Buy folks pricematch, so I was able to pick this up cheap, no waiting. I currently own a three year old 26" Sony KDL-26M4000 series set. It's a lower res 720 set. I figured that the LG for about what I paid for the Sony three years ago ought to imply comparable panel quality (both are IPS panels) and I am ready to get a larger set.
Summary: For the first day i had this tv it was amazing, gaming is so clear when using HDMI, but after 2 days it started making a buzzing noise, im not sure if this is normal but its incredibly annoying, also one of the pixels in the middle of the screen has gone green after 3 days of having it :( im sending it back to amazon so hopefully the next one will be perfect cause for the money its a beautiful tv.
