3 months after the warranty ended the TV stopped working
21 March 2012
Summary: I would never recommend buying an LG television after this. The TV simply turned "off" and ceased working, customer service was zero assistance, and when I called for someone else to fix I was informed that LG was aware that there was a problem with these sets... The cost to fix is not worth it, I'll buy a Samsung or Sony instead!!!!!!
Summary: I was happy with it at first. I didn't really like that it didn't show the title of the movie when you changed the channel. You had to push a button each time to see what the title was. Some movies on close ups the peoples eyes seem detached from their face. That doesn't happen very often. Then after about three months I lost channel 4 than channel 62. First I thought it was just not coming in because I didn't have cable and I needed to adjust the antenna.
Summary: On the day it arrived, I plugged headphones into the jack in order to play some video games. Upon pulling the headphones out of the jack, the TV speakers did not work. The switch that detected the presence of headphones had apparently stuck. So, I called LG, who then sent a tech (no complaints with the warranty process). The tech opened the back of the TV and a few things became apparent to the tech...
Summary: LG hit a home run with this HDTV!I use this HDTV everyday and we keep our HDTV on almost 20 hours a day! I have had this HDTV for over a year and it works perfect and I have NOT had one problem! I recently purchased a ONKYO Network Receiver and a Blu-Ray player along with Polk Audio Speakers and now watching movies at home is better than going to the Theater!
Summary: HDTV for a great price and the shipping company was fast, super helpful and respectful. They opened it up to show me that it was in good condition before they left. Putting the stand together (4 screws dude, that's it) and the TV menu selections are super easy. I got the TV placed and my Xbox 360, laptop, and stereo hooked up and working in under an hour. Good Stuff.
Summary: We bought two of these TVs for our young adult children for Christmas 2010. My son wanted a TV for his college dorm room and we wanted to replace the really old (14" non-HD TV) in my daughter's room. We compared various sizes and models, but at the time, for the price, features, and size, we felt this was the best deal.
Summary: Have had this for about a month and has worked flawlessly. Very happy with the picture and sound quality so far. The installation and setup were very easy. HD picture very good and SD not too bad either. So far very happy.
Summary: I received my TV on about march 2 or so. I have had it about a month and love it. I am not a real techy or anything but I am very pleased with the TV. Easy set up. My only con would be the TV is a bit wobbly on the stand as a few others have mentioned. Just need to keep my lunatic cats away!
