  • Summary: I would recommend this product. It was a great price and the picture is very sharp. The setup was simple and the TV is surprisingly light so locating the TV was easy.

excellent computer monitor.

  • Pros: Makes a great computer monitor. Makes my 24 inch dell monitors (which are on my left and right) look like they are lacking in detail. There is more detail/color in the lg TV. purchased mine for 350 because it's hard to find a 1080P 32 inch monitor,,,which in my opinion is the biggest size for viewing angle/resolution for something you're going to be sitting close too.
  • Cons: The only con that I have is that the tv will turn itself off when the computer goes into sleep mode. Where as a monitor just fires back up when you hit the mouse, you have to find the tv remote (because the powerbutton is all stuck up in the back behind the tv...bad placement) to turn it on.

A Rare, Small-Screen 1080p HD TV

BookwormX, Amazon
15 December 2013
  • Summary: Excellent, sharp 1080 picture, but the audio quality needs to be improved. The speakers sound like they're in a little plastic box. There is no auxiliary audio output jack other than the optical output, so any optional speakers have to be connected to the audio jacks on your cable modem and/or BluRay/DVD player. This is one of only a few small-screen TVs that have HD-quality 1080p. Most small-screen TVs are only 720p.

Nice

  • Summary: Good TV set but not great. The image is clear and crisp, but it is expensive for one that is only 60HZ with a somewhat deep profile (thickness).

Great tv

Adam w., Newegg
29 October 2013
  • Pros: Great colors, very clear picture. The speakers are pretty standard for a flat panel, I use external speakers exclusively. The value was great at the time of purchase and along with free shipping can't go wrong. Thanks Newegg
  • Cons: I had the issue of the TV turning on and off after I had rearranged my setup. I contacted LG customer service and they advised me to not use it with my surge protector and that solved the problem. My surge protector has protected and unprotected sockets. Evidently I had it plugged into a different socket than I had before thus causing the on and off issue. If you have the same issue I would advise not using a surge protector with this model.

Excellent as PC Monitor, Do NOT buy a used one - it may shut off by itself

  • Summary: I wanted to use this LG TV mainly as a computer monitor. You have to name the input to PC - it will make the PC picture look way better. It worked nicely 2-3 days - nice colors, contrast, crisp text, and many settings available to tweak the picture saturation, hue, contrast etc. The sound is not as clear as Vizio but is ok. I was able to set the color temperature to C20 which makes the white cool (blue hue) on a webpage or a document.
