Summary: After solving several odd problems, my 32LK450 got a fabulous picture BUT ... the extremely narrow viewing angle and a problematic tuner compelled me to send it back. My LK450 absolutely refused to give acceptable TV performance until I replaced my RG59 coax with RG6. RG59 is supposed to be acceptable for cable TV but my LK450 didn't work too well with it. (My 42" Vizio worked fine on the same RG59 even further downstream.
Summary: I have just had the LG 42LK420 TV for a week now. It is what you get for the price, a lower end HDTV. I had previously owned a Samsung, and its picture quality was superior to this TV.The HD picture quality is reasonably good, though not as good as my previous TV. The picture quality for the SD channels is not at all up to the mark. Also, the TV does not have an inbuilt antenna to catch over the air channels (or has one that did not catch any channels for me).
Summary: I had purchased a samsung 40" LCD recently and I was (and still am) VERY pleased with it's picture quality. I was frustrated however with it's limited inputs and connectivity. I came across reviews for this LG set, which is slightly bigger, cost about the same, yet has more hdmi inputs as well as headphone jack, among other connection options. I had this item shipped via overnight shipping. SHIPPING: -The tv arrived the next day, but in less than pristine condition.
Summary: We did the research and from all we found out about the LG 32LK450 LCD, it was highly regarded. When the price came down significantly on Thanksgiving Day, we jumped on it and got a great deal. Since it is a Christmas gift, we all had to wait to see if it measured up to all the reviews. Our experience so far has been that it is OK but nothing to be impressed with.
Summary: I recently purchased this set and two things come to mind: 1. This HDTV is nowhere near the sleek slim device as shown in the pictures. It is actually a quite bulky unattractive bezel. Look closely before you purchase because there is an atrocious light brown sticker like strip across at the bottom of the bezel about a 1/2 inch thick.
Summary: The brown plastic strip across the bottom looks like a sticker and we feel that it actually makes the TV look cheaper than it is. Solid piano black would have a cleaner look. -1 star on "curb appeal". The first set we received came with a dead pixel in the center but the second one is good so far. -1 star on having to replace first unit. Other than that, this is our third HDTV and the details are what you'd expect from 1080p.
Decent TV for £, but picture quality could be better.

Summary: Bought this TV from Amazon Warehouse Sales. It will have been a customer return, but came in basically brand new condition, for £50 less than new price (very pleased). The set is easy to use and looks good, with nicely laid out remote. My son uses it for a games console through hdmi and it is ideal. Have used settings that I found on the internet for calibrating the TV picture. Many reviewers state how good a picture it is on this set, but I am not too sure.
Summary: The first TV did not work and the LG help desk was far from helpful suggesting arial failure, had my arial checked at a cost of £70 and was told there was nothing wrong with my system. Amazon were very good once the problem was found and the replacement arrived in quick time with pickup and deliver times met. TV works fine now and picture quality is very good, and the controls easy to follow.
Summary: Good picture face on. Only use it to watch t.v.! but very happy with it so far. Easy to use, shame it has gone wrong in the first month:- The t.v. wouldn't switch on, I then had to disconnect socket plug for 5 mins, then re-start it; this happened twice. Repair man due tomorrow to fix it.
