Summary: Overall I am pleased with this TV. The picture is awesome -- as long as the viewing angle is less than 45 degrees. There's some edge light bleed from the corners but it's only a problem when the screen is almost black.
Pros: Easy to set up. Great picture.
Cons: Viewing angles. No wireless. Edge light bleed.
Summary: I'm writing this review after 28 days of usage, and the conclusion that I've come to is that this is an exceptional TV. A lot of ppl complained about an IPS pannel or what ever its called, essentially before I bought this I read all the other reviews and I got the "bad" one.
Pros: 1080i Hidef resolution using LED backlighting making it surprisingly thin. Also, 120 Hz a realy cool feature but the best thing, for me at least, is the price.
Cons: Mostly things that are miniscule such as no anti-glare screen and the manual is just a bit hard to follow for when you have to assemble the base/stand out of the box. Also, the stand only swivels left or right not up and down. If your using HDMI cables get "high speed" rated. I feel forced to wri...
Summary: I have yet to use the usb input to play a video. And since the other reviewer mentioned about the packaging, I am going to inspect the TV carefully and update the review in the next couple days. I think it should only be charged as an open box item if I actually got an open box one.
Pros: This TV is very light and slim due to its LED character. It was easy to set up and the picture wizard helped to tweek the picture base on your viewing angle and light. This is perfect for a college student.
Cons: As the other reviewer mentioned, I did suspect that this is an open box item, which was NOT mentioned in the title. The box def has been opened before. I got it during the 24-Hr sale when newegg lowered it from 650 to 450. Obviously they want to get rid of their stocks since it was still 450 afte...
Summary: For anyone worried about the panel lottery, dont be. I honestly don't know if these people bought broken tv's or what, but this tv looks dam good to me. I was scared at first with all this, I was even gonna return it when I got the dreaded D, but now I must say: This TV Rocks!
Pros: Lets just say with all the "panel lottery" thats going on I was pretty nervous about this tv. I was a bit disappointed to learn that my code had the dreaded "D" in it instead of "W" so that meant I got the VA unit. All I gotta say is? Are you sure your VA units weren't broken or something. o.0 I ...
Cons: Now on the bad side, id say the sound could be better, but thats to be expected with thin tv's like this. I'll pry upgrade to surround sound or a soundbar or something when I've got the cash, but for now they do the job. Also I read on here that the channels are grouped into different sections su...
Summary: I was most worried that the sound on this set might be inferior so I also ordered a sound bar, but in fact the sound quality is so good that I don't need the sound bar. There are more connections than almost anyone would ever need.
Summary: Great LED TV for the price... I got the VA panels which is fine for me, I understand that the ISP are way better. Still a great buy. I hooked my Xbox 360, BluRay Player, and PC all to the HDMI Ports to be astonished by quality of the pictures. The Sound however was mediocre.
Pros: LG is good. I dont have much to complaint. The clarity is good. Easy installation; Thin which makes it lighter to move around where you want it to be and does NOT takes up space. The Price was Awsome.
Cons: The problem I have are: When I connect this TV as my computer monitor, the Air receiption goes away, so I have to unplug the cable then turn off the TV and turn it back on. At first I taught the TV could not receive any air tv but after I put in another type of antena which have an amplifier fina...
Summary: This TV has amazing picture quality. You can really see the difference compared to a standard LCD tv. If you are going to play video games and watch sport events, it is hard to find a better picture.
