Summary: Nice picture, but sound is delayed to my other TV's so I can hear others in other rooms out of sinc. Remote is goofy, vol. , mute, and channel change under your hand as you naturally hold it. Should be where you finger can acess it. Lot of extra buttons..? 2 steps to get to DVD/VCR. Can't find channel info button..? Miss the Channel Guide info that was on my converter box. Pretty picture.
Summary: The TV is a good quality tv. I give it3 stars because this TV is not good if u want to have an audio output such as surround sound or even hook up a headset to it. Also tv comes with a USB port but that is only good for photos and music and doesnt allow you to watch videos from an external hard drive and as a deployed soldier this TV will do you NO good because as you know we all have movies on an external hard drive.
Summary: When it is working, this set has nice performance for the price, however, hdmi performance is a little twitchy (1st set did not work at all, replacement has needed power cycling several times to enable hdmi sound and picture). The set has a setup wizard to guide user through major adjustments. Neither original set nor the replacement had enough range on contrast to pass the setup wizard's example for white screen, although the picture is clear and bright.
Summary: I am very pleased with the picture quality of this new 37" LCD. It's the best I've ever seen, and we own 32" and 42" LCDs by other manufacturers. The the room light sensor works perfectly, compensatting for all sorts of light levels. However, I was greatly disappointed to find that this model has NO AUDIO OUTPUT CONNECTIONS whatsoever. That's right, none, not even a headphone jack. So you cannot connect any external audio equipment to enhance the viewing experience.
