Summary: Wanted a smaller TV for kitchen breakfast area. Didn't have many options in a 26" or 27" LCD TV. This one seemed to have favorable reviews. Biggest issue for me is that comparing this TV to others in my home, this one seems to have a mediocre picture.
Pros: One of the better choices available in this size range. Easy setup.
Cons: Picture quality using cable is just so so. Uses small external power brick instead of a more expensive internal high current switching supply.
Summary: I just wanted to make that clear, without anyone having to read through the reviews to get this information. I bought this television as a replacement to an older model, and they sent me this new, slimmer model. There's not even a headphone jack. It's ridiculous.
Summary: Excellent picture/sound and great value for money. Just remember it is not HD, so no HD channels. Doesn't seem to switch automatically between devices. For instance, i have a DVD player connected to the TV via HDMI.
Summary: It is a good TV at this price range. Other than having to balance the colours to my liking, colour and picture quality was very good. Despite what some review said, the sound quality and loudness is ample for TV of this size.
Summary: Our entry into digital TV included one for our bedroom and having opted for a 22" by another manufacturer , we realised that we should have chosen a 26" which we have now done with this LG after the premature failure of our initial purchase.
Summary: I waited a few months for Which? to publish a review on the LG 26" TVs. It was not a best buy but as a bedroom TV and the price it looked ideal and after purchasing and installing, I agree. I wanted a basic tv with a good picture and sound, this fits the bill.
