Summary: Excellent picture/sound and great value for money. Just remember it is not HD, so no HD channels. Doesn't seem to switch automatically between devices. For instance, i have a DVD player connected to the TV via HDMI. When I switch the DVD player on, I then have to go into the TV settings and switch the input from aerial to HDMI....unlike my 12 year-old lg which switched automatically. Maybe there is a way of setting the TV up to do this, but I have yet to discover it.
Summary: It is a good TV at this price range. Other than having to balance the colours to my liking, colour and picture quality was very good. Despite what some review said, the sound quality and loudness is ample for TV of this size.
Summary: Our entry into digital TV included one for our bedroom and having opted for a 22" by another manufacturer , we realised that we should have chosen a 26" which we have now done with this LG after the premature failure of our initial purchase. We are very pleased with this LG but the owner's manual could be clearer on basic set-up and other functions ,as although set-up is automatic, as a new user one does not know what to expect , and can be confusing to "oldies" Would...
Summary: I waited a few months for Which? to publish a review on the LG 26" TVs. It was not a best buy but as a bedroom TV and the price it looked ideal and after purchasing and installing, I agree. I wanted a basic tv with a good picture and sound, this fits the bill.
Summary: Bought to replace a Toshiba which we weren't too pleased with, and while this LG's tuner doesn't seem to be as good as the Toshiba, the image with HD input from Sky HD is crisp clear. You can definitely tell the difference between non HD and HD! It's a smart looking tv and sound is ok. Prefer using the hi-fi system though. Good inputs and easy to use. All in all, value for money.
Summary: Wanted a decent, but not very expensive, TV which would not dominate the room, and the LG 26LS3500 has ticked all the boxes. Good picture and sound quality, light to handle and easy to set up - even for me!! Bought it with the Sony SVRHDT500B Freeview HD Video Recorder and, despite being worried about how I would set up everything, I found all I had to do was plug it in, switch on and the equipment did the rest - far easier than I had anticipated.
Summary: Very good TV. Picture set-up required a bit of tweaking. Once this was sorted the picture is now great and the sound after tweaking is very good also. The reason I have given it 4 stars is the fact that it has no headphone jack or audio sound out and no PC connection. Thats the reason it's cheap to buy.
