Summary: I was super excited for this product. I wanted a super slim tv that I could mount on the wall in my bedroom and not be obtrusive. I think the quality of the product is great but there are two major issues. 1) Power cord. The power cord has a brick on it which means you cannot thread the power cord through the wall to make the cords go away on a wall mount. 2) The HDMI's are not flush mount. They stick out the back, making a wall mount application difficult.
Summary: This TV had a fatal flaw. It would NOT turn off! Everything else was fine with it! After turning it off, it would come back on within 5 minutes. The only way we could get it to stay off was to unplug the cord from the wall. This was unacceptable! We called the company and they could not help us rectify the problem. They wanted us to send it in for repair. As it was brand new, this was not acceptable to us.
Summary: After you turn this TV on, you get audio but no video. The manual says you might have to wait as long as 5 minutes for video to show up. We find that after a minute or two you must change the channel to get video. It's very frustrating and apparently designed that way. No more LG tv's for us.
Summary: Bought for bedroom use. Wanted a minimalistic look in the room. First disappointment, the screen is thin and elegant but the power plug uses an external "power brick" so now I have all of these ugly wires and power related adapters visible. Next, the sound really is quite poor, very thin. You would think LG would understand that a 26" TV is not going to be hooked up to "surround sound" and would make the built-in speaker system decent.
