Reviews and Problems with LG 22LV2500

A dud?

• Excerpt: Well, based on other reviews here, I seem to have got a dud model. The picture quality was poorer than our 26" CRT. As if there was not enough signal coming down the cable wire. The key picture controls mainly had to be set at the high end of the range to get remotely near a 'normal' picture. Compared with the faulty Sharp TV it replaced, it's quite poor. I suspect poor tuner design/alignment. Also, it does not have a standard audio out socket (only an optical one) so I cannot connect to our existing speaker system. When I finish this review I'm taking it back to the vendor (Walmart, where it listed for $198). I'm going to call Sharp to see if they can repair my existing set before venturing out for another purchase.
