Superb television at an affordable price.

  • Summary: Got this TV on sale last november for around $450. I will never return it or sell it until I get a 3D TV (which will be years from now). If you're looking for an unbelievably good bargain hdtv with 120hz refresh rate, this is it.
  • Pros: -Best audio quality I've heard on a tv without an external sound system. -Great picture with bright backlights that are almost like LEDs. -Plenty of plug-ins for all my consoles and my desktop pc. -Easy to navigate menu and adjust settings.
  • Cons: -Sometimes the CrystalMotion 120hz refresh rate seems to chug a little (though it's hard to tell if this is the tv's fault, the video/program's fault, or the input device). -No internet connectivity (though this is easily remedied with a game console or roku).

The only disadvantage for the JVC was the missing of Internet Apps, but which you can easily fix by purchasing a Roku box (price...
  • Pros: Great picture. Super sound. Audio mode nice feature. Many setting that are usually intuitive (except for the side effects of Clear Motion settings; see cons). It has enough inputs.
  • Cons: The only main thing, that almost got me to the point of returning the TV, is the ClearMotion which when enabled creates a very weird look and feel of the image (at least to me). It is enabled by default. I was so happy when I've found the reason for the strange image and I was able to disable it....
