Summary: Read all the reviews and decided to give this TV a shot. I am very happy with the purchase. Easy to set up, and the picture quality is just great. Using for a bedroom TV, would highly recommend.
Summary: The television set stated experiencing problems just after the one year expired. The folks from JVC were and are incompetent and useless. The technicians cannot leave script when troubleshooting. JVC's representative in the U.S. located in California either does not answer the telephone and when they do they promise someone will get in touch with you and they NEVER do. Local technician estimates replacement of the board at over $200. $400 down the drain. Shame on JVC.
Summary: Great picture nice sharp with good color can be seen from all angles I use the HDMI input from Dish. Yes I would but again..though I get the 37 as to the 32 found I have the room for it. Good sound to for small speakers.
Summary: Like many other reviewers of this model and its siblings in other sizes, my tv lasted only a year (I guess I'm one of the lucky ones!). Tonight I turned it on and same as others the JVC logo appears and its frozen. Very very disappointig. Can't afford to just go plunk down $500 every year for a new tv! Thought JVC was better than that. Definitely first and last purchase from them.
Summary: I love this TV...I'm writing the review nearly a year later. It's outstanding. The only thing is that JVC is a horrible company to deal with if you need a replacement remote. I've been without one for six months because they're too retarded to sell me a new remote.
Summary: We got one of these a few months ago, and it was fine (sound's not great, but the TV was fine). But then this week, it just stopped working. First "booted up" to the JVC logo and hung there, such that you couldn't do anything except unplug it. And now it doesn't even turn on. Apparently JVC doesn't really make or support these TVs, some company "amtran" does. So, as far as I can tell, this product is a giant waste of money.
